In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It seems the Left has been busted descriminating against Trump supporters by not providing support during hurrican Milton and that this was widespream policy and practice.

Everyone knew the Left hated the Right and were biased but this is a new low and I think more examples like this will come out showing how while being in power they used their position to descriminated against anyone who opposed their ideology.

But for me it reveals how desperate and hateful and hypocritical they are. How they presented themselves as so Woke and yet were secretly being the complete opposite.

There is a saying that we behave like the very people we protest against. It seems to me everything the Left has been saying about the Right is actually what the Left have been doing all this time and gaslighting everyone.

FEMA is not a "left" organization.
The manager was fired, after he told FEMA workers not to help Republicans in need.

I don't know about that. We have seen examples of how the Left has allowed identity politics into the highest of places. Its not done explicitly but that they allow ideologues into their ranks due to lax vetting and too much DEI ideology being allowed to influence standards.
