CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

That is because she was a Democratic Politician for so long. And it seems their credibility is pitiful.

Following my own advice, I am using BBC as a reference. They have no ax to grind and are not involved with our politics, and--no surprise--they corroborate a lot of what I've said.

TBT, I have always believed that BBC was a "real news" site, and I pretty much expected they would have much in common with the real news I look at here. But I stand by my position. If you think US mainstream media has fake news, BBC is a good alternative.

Romney has been in politics a lot longer than Gabbard, and his cousin, Huntsman, was the ambassador to Russia not that many years ago.

CIA employees are not to publicly express their political opinions nor let those political opinions interfere with their jobs. They are servants of the people, and are supposed to accurately, with no political slant, report intelligence to the president, whether it be Joe or Kamala or Donald Trump. Those trying to undermine our Republic by pushing their own agendas need to be removed.
