  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Ruben Gallego, according to the polls was supposed to win much more comfortably than this. But remaining votes look to favor Gallego.

On November 6, 2024 The Arizona Supreme Court rejected Kari Lake's bid to overturn her 2022
loss when she ran for Governor. I have to wonder if she will also try to have this election overturned, should she lose.

Lake was one of the very few running for office here in Az. that was not pro-baby killing.
Her acceptance of new-pres. Trump's stolen election assertions, hurt her chances.

Arizona was replacing a Democratic senator.

If I lived in Phoenix, where water shortages have brought a ban on new construction and climate change threatens their lives and livelihoods, I sure would attempt to put a firewall up between Phoenix and the economic devastation caused by climate deniers.

BTW, no amount of lies to Nevada, Arizona, and eastern California will hide their guilt if water is rationed, brought in by truck, etc.
Drill, baby, drill as water becomes the next life-threatening crisis.

The issue here is, as with the California results, we are almost a week into the count, and they are still not done. Other states with several times the population were completed on the first night. However, these states cannot seem to handle these counts in a timely manner. Ultimately, it causes doubts about the process and the results. The mind naturally drifts to questions. Why are they talking so long??? I bet they are printing up more votes in a back room somewhere! Maybe they are destroying votes. Who knows. Something is wrong. We cannot prove it. So, a question mark will hang over the results forever. If it looks like cheating... it could very well be cheating.

See this article:

An excerpt:

Arizona has a long-standing tradition of encouraging mail-in voting, with over 75 percent of voters opting for this method due to the remote conditions. However, processing these ballots is time-consuming, as they require steps like signature verification and curing, where voters are contacted to confirm their signatures. Arizona also begins processing mail-in ballots only just before Election Day, which adds to the overall delay.

According to Arizona law, mail-in ballots postmarked by Election Day can still be counted if they arrive by 7 p.m. that day.

Many ballots are dropped off in person on Election Day, leading to a large influx of ballots that must be processed immediately after polls close.

Each mail-in ballot must be scanned, sorted, and undergo signature verification to confirm the voter's identity, which significantly slows down the counting process. In 2022, around 20 percent of voters submitted their mail-in ballots just before polls closed, further contributing to the delay.

Election officials in Arizona are once again changing the ballot totals as the US Senate Seat has yet to be called.

President Trump won the state 52.7% to 46.4% over Kamala Harris – a SIX POINT spread!

But the officials in Arizona want you to believe that a majority of Arizona voters voted for Trump, and then a majority voted for Ruben Gallego.

The Kari Lake campaign fired off a letter on Friday to Pima County officials after they were caught changing the ballot totals this week in Pima County!

According to the Lake Campaign attorneys, the uncounted ballots went up by 14,666 on Friday, November 8, between the reports listed as uploaded at 1:23pm MST (Exhibit B) and 3:23pm MST (Exhibit D).

Now there is a new development.

It's NOT just Pima County that is adding ballots to their totals following election day.

Yuma County DOUBLED its remaining ballot count from Thursday to Friday!

Liz Harrington reported:

Yuma County Adding Votes
Outstanding votes almost DOUBLED from 11/7 to 11/8
How does Yuma go from 9,861 votes left to 18,011? And how is it Saturday night after the Election and we still don’t have the “results”?
Because they’re stealing it from @KariLake

And why is that so hard to believe that a majority vote would for Trump and a majority would vote for Gallego? Parties may be important, but so are candidates; it is hardly difficult to believe that people will in one race vote for a candidate of a particular party while in another race voting for someone of a different party. I know that because I'm one of them; on my ballot this election, I voted differently (party-wise) in the presidential and the senate election for my state.

If anything, the difference makes the cheating charge less plausible, because why would this supposed cheating be happening in the senate election but not the presidential election?

Tickets were split in many states.
More incongruous is the support for abortion rights. Higher minimum wages. Other employee benefits among Trump voters.
They don't realize he would end all three if he could.
In Arkansas, people support good referendums and the legislature works hard to make sure the results aren't followed.

If they actually cheated for Ruben's benefit, why in the world would they not also cheat for Harris?
