CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

False, Trump never pretended, expected, or would seek an endorsement for Taylor Swift. But he sure would accept an endorsement if she did.

I find it shocking that a presidential candidate would care so much. I can understand her fans caring but a candidate? That seems silly.Imagine caring about who Taylor Swift endorses politically.

Trump sure doesn't care about an endorsement. But the liberal MSM made it a point of spend many hours of air time to promote it. So it is obviously important to them, because they think it is important to liberals.

Well, he is definitely ill-informed because he believed the propaganda and false journalism that claimed that Trump made the comment. When in fact, it was a rip comedian who also ripped numerous other attendees. Regardless, Trump denounced the comment. I agree with the left that misinformation is a threat to democracy.

They are in desperation mode. They see the handwriting on the wall, saying Trump will be #47. At this point, nothing would surprise me. Lord, protect this man from the forces arrayed against him. He is not perfect and definitely needs some work.
But these people are trying to destroy him, and I believe he is the man for this hour. Help our nation and return it to a right and fair vessel for your work.
