CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Did we all forget Trump being in the blockbuster Home Alone 2? More of a cameo, but I'm sure DonOLD himself would count that to be considered a movie star.

lol, Trump was a tv celebrity for something like a decade before getting elected. His real estate empire was in rough shape before that and his personal branding had mostly faded. Republican voters in 2016 didn't just listen to the star when going to the polls; they checked the box next to his name. We owe all of this to Mark Burnett.

Well yes, he's certainly been a TV celebrity for a long time. I've always though there's been an unspoken difference between a "Movie Star" and a "TV star." Usually it seemed that movie stars were more prestigious back then, but that's gotten blurry now.
I was surprised to see he's been in quite a few films. Notably "The Little Rascals" from 1994. He was the rich kids dad and his cameo line was "You're the best son money can buy." What a charmer.
