  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hello folks. This is the start of the 2010s dance music thread. :) Back in the mid-2010s (around 2015 or 2016), this song was one of my many jams. Perfect to dance to in my room. The song Dallerium - Feel This Way was made overseas by a Croatian electro house band named Dallerium. Not all of their newer stuff I like, but their 2014-2017 stuff was good. Yes, I like some new stuff also besides 1960s-2000s music, but mainly from smaller musicians.

Dallerium - Feel This Way [Future House, No vocals] (2014)

Tom Damage - My World Is Shaking (ft. Ellie Maddison) [Future House, with vocals, similar in style to pop music] (2018)

Two more classics from the 2010s. The first one has no vocals, while the second one does, and I did not hear the second one until 2023. Guy Didden is a guy my age from Holland, while Tim Gunter is from the USA.

Ooh, one more from the 2010s, this time from a German music duo, Uplink. The technological advancements and changing style of music in the 2010s meant that electronic music from the later part of the decade (2017-2019) sounded more polished compared to the early 2010s (2010-2012) electronic stuff. But of course, the late 20th century music such as classic rock sounded well polished as well, as music was recorded using high fidelity analog tech without the limitations of software.

But yes, Germans may suck at making TV shows and movies, but they are good at making music.

Uplink - Scars (ft. Liljaa) [Electropop, Future Bounce] (2018):

UK artist, Ben (Dytone), made a great remix in 2016. The song is very upbeat, and good to dance to, and sounds at least a few years ahead of the time. Sadly, Dytone has not released any songs recently.
