It was a cultural thing. In Greece, hair were considered to be the seat of the female fertility. The longer, the more fertile.Im confused. My hair is currently at my shoulder blades and I was gonna grow it to mid back...but then I read 1 Corinth 11:15 and now im confuseddddd.
Dont worry about it only paul thinks this, it is a cultural thing. different times today however I know from scripture that men should not look like women and women like men. if you are masculine or a worker not dealing with dangerous equipment, no problem.Im confused. My hair is currently at my shoulder blades and I was gonna grow it to mid back...but then I read 1 Corinth 11:15 and now im confuseddddd.
Of the 28 women named in the New Testament, Paul and his disciple Luke name 23 of them. If not for Paul and Luke, we would only know of Mary, Mary, Mary, Martha, and Salome. Paul and Luke speak frequently about the importance of women in Paul's ministry, particularly significant since in that time and place he need not mention the involvement of women at all. Paul entrusted his most significant letter to a woman...and a woman deacon at that. He said that two other women "fought beside me" in the Gospel.Paul didn't seem to have a very high opinion of females did he.

So...what im getting is its ok? As long as I dont look feminine? (I say with a Harley Pfp XDDD) but in reality I dont look feminine hahaHey Harley,
I just had a friend last week with this question about hair length, and about head coverings, and men and women's roles in Church and the whole banana. This study I believe would be well worth your effort to read, as it goes far and wide into even why God created man and woman and made them so different and how *everything* about them testifies to spiritual realities.
I encourage anybody curious to check this out and along with Harley provide your critical analysis.
Blessings to all.

We are given the ability to grow meters long nails. However... we do not do that, for all practical reasons.Of course it then begs the question if it was not meant to be then why did God give the man ability to grow long hair, not to mention why the nipples, even pre-rib extraction.
Heck, I dunno. Except I think the Levites wore their hair long for some reason, perhaps being set aside as the priestly clan.Of course it then begs the question if it was not meant to be then why did God give the man ability to grow long hair, not to mention why the nipples, even pre-rib extraction.
Unless you live a life of luxury I'm sure they would break off quite readily. Mine do.We are given the ability to grow meters long nails. However... we do not do that, for all practical reasons.

Probably. But my point is that the fact something is constantly growing does not tell us its supposed to be long.Unless you live a life of luxury I'm sure they would break off quite readily. Mine do.
For the building of the church as the one new man Paul broke down thePaul didn't seem to have a very high opinion of females did he.
