Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I rather think life will be more surreal in the coming times ahead than it is yet. How I do not know, but I fear I have ideas that are not far off. As I write, I have shared such ideas in writing from me, perhaps those writings I can have published as I have other writing from me. And as for surreal writing, I have shown such that I shared through the CF site, with posts in a thread starting here. write something nonsensical, surreal, silly. (3)

I have other writing that isn't all the same that I share elsewhere. My Facebook page I mention at the bottom is not one of those other places, I post mainly things from Bible reading there, but could answer questions to me there too. But I do share writing in many places besides, still, including MeWe, LinkedIn, Discord, Telegram, Signal, X, Mastodon, Blue Sky, CMX chat site, WordPress, and WattPad. There are some with surreal writing from me, such as I show through here, but not all.

I do not mind anyone here following me, in any of the sites, or messaging me about them, certainly, and just maybe we might connect in a medium we would each be using. And if there is interest (I know already there are those who will have no interest) I will share about published works, though those are yet few, now. And some would be surreal, still.

Using dreams in my writing is the obvious clear way to have surreal scenes included. But with use of fantasy there can be other surreal scenes anyway, which I do include in my writing.
