Two Covenants

Rom 8:15 KJV "For you (Christians) have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father."
Spirit of Adoption

1. 1Co 2:12-14 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 1Co 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Ghost teaches; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 1Co 2:14 But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
2. 2Ti 1:7 For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2Ti 1:8 Be not you therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be you partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; 2Ti 1:9 Who has saved us (Christians 2Cor 1:22 Eph 1:13 4:30), and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
3. Heb 2:15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
4. Heb 12:21-24 And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake Heb 12:22 But you are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, Heb 12:23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, Heb 12:24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaks better things than that of Abel.
5. 1Jn 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. 1Jn 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear has torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love. 1Jn 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us.
6. Pro 8:13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the forward mouth, do I hate.
7. Gal 2:4-5 And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage: Gal 2:5 To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you. 2Pe 2:19 While they (false teachers) promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. Mat 26:15 And (chief priests) said unto them, what will you give me (Judas), and I will deliver him (Jesus) unto you? And they (chief priests) covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver. 8. Gal 4:2-7 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. Gal 4:3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: Gal 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, Gal 4:5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. Gal 4:6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Gal 4:7 Wherefore you are no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

The Spirit of Bondage (Deut 28:48 Jer 28:13-14 yoke of iron)

Gal 4:21 KJV Tell me, you that desire to be under the law, do you not hear the law? Gal 4:22a KJV For it is written,

1. Gal 4:22b that Abraham had two sons, the one (Ishmael-Saudi Arabia) by a bondmaid (Hagar concubine), (Dan 5:23 Matt 26:14-16)
2. Gal 4:22c the other (Isaac Gal 4:28) by a freewoman (Sarah).

Gal 4:23 KJV (Gen 3:15 seed of the woman) Gen 1:4 separate light from darkness

1. Gal 4:23a But he (Ishmael) who was of the bondwoman (Hagar) was born after the flesh (sin nature);
2. Mar 14:10-11 KJV And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went unto the chief priests, to betray him unto them. Mar 14:11 KJV And when they heard it, they were glad, and promised to give him money. And he sought how he might conveniently betray him.
3. Act 1:25 KJV That he (Judas) may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he (Judas) might go to his own place.
4. Act 13:7,10 KJV Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God. Act 13:10 KJV And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, you child of the devil (Isa 30:1 2Cor 11:13-15), you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?
5. Gal 4:23b But he (Isaac) of the freewoman (Sarah) was by promise (assurance Gal 4:28 Eph 1:13-14 sealed with the Holy Spirit of Promise {Gen 17:15-19 Gen 18:10-14}). Matt 11:30 take my yoke
6. Act 2:33 KJV Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he has shed forth this, which you now see and hear.
7. Rom 1:2 KJV (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,) Rom 4:13 KJV For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. Rom 4:14 KJV For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect: Rom 4:15 KJV Because the law works wrath: for where no law is (Col 2:14 Rom 10:4), there is no transgression. Gal 4:24a KJV Which things are an allegory (prophecy to come): for these are the two covenants (2Cor 6:14);Parallel of Old and New Testaments

Gal 4:24b the one from the mount Sinai (Ex 24:12-18 Moses), which genders to bondage, which is Hagar (bondwoman). Gal 4:25 KJV For this Hagar (Ex 32) is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answers to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children (Rev 2:20-24 1Kings 18:19).


The 1st Covenant Hagar-Ishmael-Judas

1. Mat 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. Mat 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, take no thought for your life, what you shall eat, or what you shall drink; nor yet for your body, what you shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Mat 6:26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feed them. Are you not much better than they?
2. Mat 26:14 Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests, Mat 26:15 And said unto them, what will you give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver. Mat 26:16 And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him.
   1. Proverbs 18:21 KJV — Death(Judas covenant) and life(Blood Covenant of Christ) are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
3. Isa 28:15 Because you have said, we have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves: Isa 28:16 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD, behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believes shall not make haste. Isa 28:17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place. Isa 28:18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then you shall be trodden down by it.

• Mat 27:5 And he (Judas) cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself. (Judas is the testator of the Covenant of death Gen 2:17)
• Heb 9:16 For where a testament (covenant) is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.

Gal 4:26 KJV But Jerusalem which is above (Heb 12:23-24) is free (John 8:36), which is the mother of us (Christians) all.


Jerusalem Up Above

1. Joh 3:12 If I have told you earthly things, and you believe not, how shall you believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
2. Joh 8:23 And he said unto them, you are from beneath; I am from above: you are of this world; I am not of this world.

It is Written

1. Isa 29:11 And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, read this, I pray you: and he says, I cannot; for it is sealed: Isa 29:12 And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, read this, I pray you: and he says, I am not learned.
2. Psa 69:25 Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents. Psa 69:26 For they persecute him whom you have smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom you have wounded. Psa 69:27 Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into your righteousness. Psa 69:28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.
3. Act 1:17 For he (Judas) was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry. Act 1:18 Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out. Act 1:19 And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, the field of blood. Act 1:20 For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishopric let another take.

Gal 4:28 KJV Now we (Christians), brethren, as (parallel) Isaac was (Old Testament), (Christians) are the children of promise.


Promise of Walking by Faith Rom 1:16 2

1. Act 3:25 You (Jews) are the children of the prophets, and of the (1st) covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, and in your seed shall all the kindreds (Gentiles) of the earth be blessed.
2. Rom 4:13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. Rom 4:14 For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect: Rom 4:15 Because the law works wrath: for where no law is (Col 2:14 Rom 10:4), there is no transgression. Rom 4:16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace (Rom 10:9,10 Eph 2:8-10); to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all, Rom 4:17 (As it is written, I have made you a father of many nations (takes in Gentiles),) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickens the dead, and calls those things which be not as though they were. Rom 4:18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, so shall your seed be.
3. Rom 9:8 That is, they which are the children of the flesh (sin nature Eph 2:2 2Cor 11:13-15 {Gen 3:7 fig leaf of Adam and Eve Isa 30:1 Acts 17:28}), these are not (Eph 5:6 Luke 1:17) the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted (Rom 11:12 Heb 11:11 Gal 3:29) for the seed. Rom 9:9 For this is the word of promise, at this time will I come, and Sara (free woman) shall have a son (Isaac Gal 4:24).
4. Gal 3:29 And if you (Christians) be Christ's, then are you Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
5. Gal 4:23 But he (Ishmael Gal 4:24) who was of the bondwoman (Hagar) was born after the flesh (sin nature Esau-Gen 25:29-34); but he (Isaac) of the freewoman (Sarah) was by promise.

Gal 4:29 KJV But as then he (unsaved) that was born after the flesh (sin nature) persecuted him (Christians) that was born after the Spirit (John 3:3-8 1Pet 1:23 1Cor 6:10-12), even so it is now (Heb 10:33 Gal 1:13 continuing persecution).


Continuing Persecution

1. Gen 21:9 And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking.
2. Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto you, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
3. Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them (Christians) which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh (sin nature), but after the (Holy) Spirit.
4. Mat 23:34 Wherefore, behold, I (Jesus) send unto you (Jews) prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them you (Jews) shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall you (Jews) scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: Mat 23:35 That upon you (Jews) may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom you (Jews) slew between the temple and the altar. Mat 23:36 Verily I say unto you, all these things shall come upon this generation. Mat 23:37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you (Rev 17:5) that kill the prophets, and stone them which are sent unto you, how often would I have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, and you would not!
5. Gal 5:11 And I (Paul), (Christian) brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross (1Cor 1:18 Rom 1:16) ceased.
6. Gal 6:12 As many as desire to make a fair show in the flesh (sin nature), they constrain you to be circumcised (1st Testament); only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ. Gal 6:13 For neither they themselves (following Hagar the bondwoman) who are circumcised keep the law (Col 2:14 Rom 10:4); but desire to have you (Christians) circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh (sin nature). Gal 6:14 But God forbid that I (Paul) should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me (Matt 18:18), and I (Paul) unto the world. Gal 6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision avails anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature (born again John 3:3-8 1Pet 1:23).
7. 1Th 2:13 For this cause also thank we (servant leadership) God without ceasing, because, when you (Christians) received the word of God which you heard of us, you (Christians) received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth (1Cor 15:1-4 Eph 1:13), the word of God (John 10:27), which effectually works also in you (Christians Acts 17:24) that believe. 1Th 2:14 For you, (Christian) brethren, became followers of the churches of God (churches in houses 1Cor 15:9 1Cor 11:1 1Pet 4:17 Rom 16:5 Psa 127:1) which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for you (Christian Jews) also have suffered like things of your own countrymen (Jews), even as they (Christians) have of the Jews: 1Th 2:15 Who (Jews-sin nature) both killed the Lord Jesus, and their (Jews-sin nature) own prophets, and have persecuted us (Christians); and they please not God, and are contrary to all (Gentile) men:
8. Heb 10:33 Partly, while you (Christians) were made a gazing stock (Psa 44:23 1Cor 4:13) both by reproaches and afflictions (Gal 1:13 1Cor 15:9); and partly, while you (Jews) became companions (associates) of them (Christians) that were so used. Heb 10:34 For you (Christians) had compassion of me (Paul) in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling (loss) of your (Christians) goods, knowing in yourselves that **you (Heb 12:23) have in heaven (Rom 14:10 2Cor 5:10) a better and an enduring substance.

Gal 4:30 KJV Nevertheless what says the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman (Hagar-1st Old Testament) and her son (Ishmael-sin nature): for the son (Ishamel) of the bondwoman (Hagar-1st Covenant-Old Testament) shall not be heir with the son (Isaac) of the freewoman (Sarah-2nd Covenant-New Testament).

1. Gal 3:8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen (Gentiles) through faith (Rom 10:9,10 Eph 2:8-10), preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, in you (Abraham) shall all (Gentile) nations be blessed.
2. Gal 3:21 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law (Col 2:14 Rom 10:4). Gal 3:22 But the scripture has concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them (Gentiles) that believe. Gal 3:23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Gal 3:24 Wherefore the law was our (Christians) schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we (Christians) might be justified by faith. Gal 3:25 But after that faith is come, we (Christians) are no longer under a schoolmaster. Gal 3:26 For you (Christians) are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
3. Jas 4:4 You adulterers and adulteresses, know you not that the friendship (sin nature) of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world (sin nature Eph 2:2 2Cor 4:4 John 8:44) is the enemy of God. Jas 4:5 Do you think that the scripture says in vain, the spirit that dwells in us lusts to envy? Jas 4:6 But he (God) gives more grace. Wherefore he (Jesus) says, God resists the proud, but gives (Matt 22:37-40) grace (Rom 10:9-10 Eph 2:8-10) unto the humble. Jas 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil (Lucifer), and he will flee from you.
4. Gen 21:10 Wherefore she (Sarah) said unto Abraham, cast out this bondwoman (Harar-sin nature) and her son (Ishamel-heir of sin nature): for the son of this bondwoman (Hagar) shall not be heir with my (Sarah-freewoman-2nd Covenant-New Testament) son (Isaac-Promised Heir), even with Isaac. Gen 21:11 And the thing was very grievous in Abraham's sight because of his son (Ishamel-heir of the sin nature). Gen 21:12 And God said unto Abraham, let it not be grievous in your sight because of the lad (Ismael), and because of your (Abraham) bondwoman (Hagar); in all that Sarah has said unto you, hearken unto her (Sarah) voice; for in Isaac (heir of Promise-2nd Covenant-New Testament) shall your (Promised) seed be called.
5. Rom 11:7 What then? Israel has not obtained that which he seeks for; but the election has obtained it, and the rest (sin nature Eph 2:2 2Cor 4:4 John 8:44) were blinded Rom 11:8 (According as it is written, God has given them (rejectors) the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear unto this day. Rom 11:9 And David says, (1) let their (rejectors sin nature Rev 2&3) table be made a snare, (2) and a trap, (3) and a stumbling-block, (4) and a recompence unto them (rejectors): Rom 11:10 Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back always. Rom 11:11 I (Paul) say then, have they (rejectors-sin nature) stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their (rejectors-sin nature) fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them (rejectors-sin nature) to jealousy.
6. Joh 8:35 And the servant abides not in the house for ever: but the Son abides ever. Joh 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you (Christians) free, you shall be free indeed.
7. Rom 8:15 For you (Christians) have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear (Hagar-1st Covenant-Old Testament); but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we (Christians) cry, Abba, Father.
8. 2Ch 28:10 And now you (Jews) purpose to keep under the children of Judah and Jerusalem for bondmen and bondwomen (Hagar-sin nature) unto you (Jews): but are there not with you (Jews), even with you (Jews {see Twin Paper}), sins against the LORD your God?

Gal 4:31 KJV So then, (Christian) brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman (Hagar-sin nature), but of the free (Sarah-2nd Covenant-New Testament).


Sin Nature or the Righteousness Nature

1. Joh 1:12 But as many (Christians) as received him (Jesus), to them(Christians) gave he (God) power to become the sons of God, even to them (Christians) that believe on his (Jesus) name (Acts 4:12): Joh 1:13 Which were born (Christians John 3:3-8 1Pet 1:21), not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh (sin nature), nor of the will of man, but of God. Joh 1:14 And the Word (John 1:1-3 Matt 1:18) was made flesh, and dwells among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (John 14:6).
2. Gal 5:1 (Christians) Stand fast (2Cor 6:17-18 {1Kings 18:19 Table of Jezebel, Jezebel Doctrine Rev 2:20-23}) therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us (Christians) free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage (Hager-sin nature 2Pet 2:19 John 8:36 {see Heb 5:12-6:1-6 paper}).
3. Deu 28:48 Therefore shall you (Jews) serve your enemies (Gentiles) which the LORD shall send against you (Jews), (1) in hunger, (2) and in thirst, (4) and in nakedness, (5) and in want of all things: and he (Jehovah) shall put a yoke of iron (Jer 28:13-14) upon your neck, until he (Jehovah) has destroyed you (Jews).
4. Dan 2:43 And whereas you (Daniel) saw iron mixed with miry clay, they (are evil and perhaps not human?) shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.
5. Joh 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you (Christian) free, you shall be free indeed.
6. Mat 23:15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, you make him (proselyte) twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

• Opinion The Scourge is the time between the Resurrection and the 7-year Tribulation, during this time the 7-Seals happen.
