Former Trump administration DOJ official Jeff Clark said he cannot find evidence Kamala Harris ever personally led a prosecution.

Former Trump administration Department of Justice official Jeff Clark said Wednesday that he cannot find evidence that Vice President Kamala Harris ever personally led the prosecution of a single case at the local or state level.

If he’s correct, it’s the equivalent of Walz’s claim of retiring as a Command Sergeant Major.

I don't see where she claimed to have led prosecutions. Only that she prosecuted people. Since she was a prosecutor, it seems unlikely that she wasn't prosecuting anyone.

Isn’t Jeff Clark the low level guy Donald tried to install as AG after Barr resigned because of the insurrection attempt? Iirc, that appointment was foiled by the rest of the justice department heads threatened to quit en mass out of disgust.

I thought he was a command sergeant major. I think thats what matters - the job he did, rather than what designation was required as a retiree.

I can see a glaring flaw in his search parameters:

Boolean search terms: adv: ((kamala /3 harris) /2 argued) This first part of that Boolean search finds the universe of all cases where Kamala Harris (including Kamala D. Harris and Kamala Devi Harris -- or any other potential variants of her name) appears. Then the second part of the search narrows that universe down to cases where the word "argues" appears within 2 words of her name.

That sounds reasonable enough, if you assume that "argued" would immediately follow her name. However, look at his screen shot:

On the lines where the arguing attorney has a title, the word "argued" followed the title, not the name. And because her title was longer than two words, his search terms would exclude anything that said "Harris, Deputy District Attorney (argued)".

He's also argued on twitter a few times that nobody has been able to pull up a transcript of one of her cases, but pulling a transcript requires knowing the name of the judge and the court reporter, and paying a fee:

I would assume that the only people currently in possession of such a transcript are folks who've been involved in the cases, or who've researched them for some professional reason, and wouldn't have much interest in getting into a twitter fight with some dude who can't even be bothered to get his search parameters correct.

A prosecutor who didn’t prosecute

A VP tasked with the boarder crisis who didn’t do anything helpful in solving the boarder crisis (just got worse).

The last person in the Situation room who did nothing to control a situation that cost the lives of 13 soldiers

A candidate who was never voted on

A debater who refused multiple times to debate

A politician who does not answer questions.

Yeah, that is bout right.

What sounds about right is another right-winger making bold claims in public based on basic factual errors, and then folks in threads chiming in to agree without reading the existing comments that poke holes in those claims.

Why? The targeted audience gets their fix first then when it’s shown to be untrue it’s either dropped without a word or defended to the hilt regardless of the facts. There’s no down side to lies these days.
