CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Isn't that an oxymoron?
A Fox debate would be designed to favor Trump. But TBT, in his first debate against Harris he was so outmatched that I doubt even Fox's finger on the scale could do more than give Trump a draw.

I assume the Fox being discussed is the one that was pinged $787 million for lying to benefit the GOP? Just making sure I'm thinking of the right one.

There's already been two moderated debates that weren't hosted by Fox.
They mainly want to see if Harris is brave enough to do one on Fox. If Harris hadn't chickend out of the Sept 5th invitation, three debates would already be a done deal.
Of course one of those three was the one with the guy they kicked out after telling us how fit he was for office.

She had the opportunity to schedule other debates ... she failed to do so ... early voting is already taking place in some areas ... no reason for Trump to engage in any more debates ...Trump has and does give many interviews ... Harris does not, up to her whether she chooses to give more interviews or not. Both candidates have other means to get their messages out .... debates are not necessary.Trump has pushed back on the idea of agreeing to another debate with CNN, pointing to the fact that Harris ducked a September event that was set to be hosted by Fox News. The Trump Campaign pointed to the fact that they agreed to a debate with a left-leaning, anti-Trump network in calling for Harris to reciprocate, though she ultimately decided to skip the September 10 debate.
