Christianity makes a lot more sense in a context where you don’t have to make career choices. Confess Christ, die, go to heaven.

But in this context where I have to pick a career, how is it even possible?
Why would a career choice hinder your walk with Jesus Christ of Nazareth? If you have the full Armour of God, you are well prepared after all, we are commanded to harvest from the secular world. How do we do that if we shelter ourselves from that world? So how do we " live for Christ"? Grow His Kingdom by sharing the Good News to the lost.

"The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few". Jesus Christ of Nazareth

You use the brain God gave you ... our decisions are ok with God as long as we don't sin. Decisions we make for ourselves may or may not work out as we had hoped ... that does not mean God disapproved or approved of them.

God's concern is with sin (sin is transgression of the law)

It is a matter of mindfulness. No matter what career, remain mindful each second that you belong to Christ nd he is with you. Every second.

You can explore your purpose by examining your gifts and talents and considering ways you might employ them for the world's betterment. You can consider the causes that bother or upset you and pursue work in those areas. But the best course is seeking the answers in prayer. By asking why I am here and how is my presence meant to bless the kingdom. Write down everything that comes to mind afterward.

Who says we go to heaven? Perhaps we become heaven which is Christ within. Becoming a part of the body of the new man with Christ as the Head. The Head is the crown of glory upon the throne of the New Jerusalem. Holy Spirit winding down, fruitfulness everywhere.
That's the story of the Bible. Not be good and maybe you'll make it to heaven.

Behind words are constructs of reality, better choose the right one?

Maybe my job could be 'digging up the past'.

There is growing curiosity about the past and I see videos like that on YouTube all the time. How will you monetize it? If you elect to make content you mustn't rely on the platform for your income. It's one of several streams you'll put in place.

Many Christians erred in this regard and find themselves demonetized or struggling with the algorithm. Look up the channels you like and make sure they're monetized. You can do that through a third party site or click on a live and see if they received any super chats or related donations.

Some topics are more controversial than others on social media. Listen for complaints about strikes, deleted items and YouTube jail. If this will become your new job source put the controversial stuff on Patreon or a website. You'll minimize their censure.

I really don't care, and couldn't care less. Don't even have a bank account. Lol.

Cymatics played a big role in the previous civilization that went under. The Bible also talks about the importance of semantics. Perhaps we construct the reality with our words. It's a lot bigger factor than money.

Thanks for offering such a great question.

Ask Jesus Christ what His Will for you is: He has a plan for you. "What is your vision for me, Immanuel?"

I gave my life to God in 2024.

Haha I'm joking.

I gave my life to God in 2015 approximately. Before that I was tripping on the edges. I was a party animal and followed in the footsteps of my Uncle who is now finishing last in our family.

I was very enthusiastic about the faith, particularly the lifestyle of a Christian. I wanted to be in churches making friends and enjoying married life. As a legend. In the church I don't think there is a term for this. Pride. haha.

Okay there is a word for it.

Soon after I gave my life to Christ I found myself at rock bottom.

I prayed a lot but only for my own escape from trouble (illness, jail, punishment, death, etc).

But God had other plans. He put me back in school where I learned that my true purpose is to Rap. I had prayed, "Please God, help me abandon all pretenses and find my true self." Surely enough I declared that I would rap for the sake of itself.

But God had other plans for me.

Years have gone by and I'm only so much closer to my goal of being a rapper. God has shown me that my motives were fake, leading me to betrayal and loneliness, only to be "saved" from trouble.

But now I wait for him to change my motives. I have a deep relationship with God and I'm enjoying my life. I am far better than I was before, I can safely say that.

But one thing is the same. God has given me a new lifestyle: he has given me meaning and purpose. He makes me feel like my life is significant. And we are all so blessed to be Christians on this forum.

Prayers for you to find your purpose and serve our Creator. Let's advance the kingdom.

Amen.

Don't follow politicians and don't desire wealth.

Don't desire wealth. Stay from sexual immorality. Be humble and dont get involved with politics. Love God and others as yourself. Rejoice always and pray always. Don't worry about the cares of this life. Seek God's kingdom as Jesus said.
