Serena was only 14 and had never even kissed a boy when a guy she had a crush on convinced her to send him nude images and videos of herself, which he proceeded to share with classmates.

She fell into depression and attempted suicide several times after the content was viewed on Pornhub and uploaded to the site again and again.

When she was 19, Serena connected with longtime advocate Laila Mickelwait after she saw the girl's abuse video online. Mickelwait put out an alert video featuring the girl's face, which allowed the two to connect for help in taking the content off Pornhub.

Its an indictment on our times that a site like Pornhub and others is now mainstream like its a car or health expo. Never mind self regulation as that means no regulations. Somehow perversion is now a human right and expression of self identity.

Like violence this affects people especially young people. Devalues women and men for that matter, but also sex and relationships and family, everything. I think it should be up to government censors to maybe put filters on the system Or maybe have computers that restrict access. But parents should be monitoring their kids in the first place.

But then many families are broken or don't bother, too stressed or busy. Now we have iphones anyone can connect. But then I think peoples expectations have changed and are more liberal and sex, even soft porn in mainstreamed in the media. So it seems society in general is being primed to accept almost anything nowadays like its normal.

Pornhub should not only be banned because of incidents like this, but because pornography and it's effects on society in general have been disastrous and evil.
