As Kamala Harris pivots to the political center in her campaign for president, a 2019 questionnaire from a leading civil rights organization spotlights her past support for left-wing causes such as taxpayer-funded gender transition surgeries for detained immigrants and federal prisoners.

In an American Civil Liberties Union questionnaire then-Sen. Harris filled out as a candidate for president in 2020, she also expressed support for decriminalizing federal drug possession for personal use, and for sweeping reductions to Immigration and Custom Enforcement operations, including drastic cuts in ICE funding and an open-ended pledge to “end” immigration detention.

Also defunding the police, supporting abortions, bailing out criminals especially those involved in the BLM riots while abusing Rule of law in targeting opponents.

Harris, Waltz and the radical Left may try to create a new narrative that they are moderates, that they represent joy and hope. But the reality is they will bring more conflict and chaos for society.

I mean, while it's for those migrants on Med Cal, med-cal is subsidized by the Federal government. In 2021-22 fiscal year the Federal government paid 70% of Med-Cal expenses... California wouldn't have made this decision without backing from the administration.

And they are offering migrants free gender transitions. Which is multiple surgeries and all kinds of expenses.

Via California law, American taxpayers are now paying for migrants to transition.

No, that would be because Medi-Cal has offered coverage for gender confirmation surgery since 2001, and the state government chose to extend full Medi-Cal coverage to undocumented residents who meet certain criteria beginning this year.

Yes, and American tax payer dollars don't need to be paying for illegals - illegals - to have transgender surgeries and hormone treatments (which are for life) etc.

I am against the concept of welfare paying for people who were born here to transition but illegals? That's just throwing tax payer dollars out the window!

It's truly truly truly wrong, and a disservice to the American people. The rest of America shouldn't be paying for the communist social experiments that California dreams up when we didn't get to have any say in their policies in the first place.
