  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

At 11:10 Trump says he lost by a whisker.

He lost by 7 million votes. That is not a whisker. He lost the popular vote in 2016, as well, but because how the Electoral College is set up, he still won the election.

An entirely different story then what Trump told the Jan 6 crowd; how he had won in a landslide, but it was stolen.

Yeah but we know how much of a liar he is.
Sadly, hundreds of people went to jail and Ashli Babbit was shot dead in the head because he lied. Those who trusted in Trump the most, are the ones that were betrayed the most. Trump knew his followers were gullible. He even once said he could shoot someone and not lose a vote.

I didn't believe him when he first said it. When you declare something to be factually true without any factual proof, it's a lie.

I've never believed the slander Trump says about his political opponents or about migrants. It's wickedness to even want to believe bad things said about others without any proof.

It is inconsistent for Trump to admit that he lost a close election,
when he is planning to claim that he won the next election,
regardless of the official vote count.

Trump has continuously trashed the (very accurate and transparent)
voting system in America. Why would anyone believe anything he says
about a vote count, in some election?

The proverbial forked tongue. The thing is that since any reasoning based on a lie will end up in a contradiction, it also means that in cross-examination, the person who is lying or deceived will ultimately end up talking out of both sides of their mouth.
