Ohio Sec of State Wants Proof of Citizenship to Register to Vote

Frank LaRose wants Ohio to pass a law requiring people to prove their citizenship when registering to vote. This seems like a common sense approach to the voting issues regarding requiring citizen ship.proof when voting. This way it's done ahead of time and you don't have to bring proof to the polling place. Just bring an ID to prove who you are and your good to go. You've already provided proof of citizenship.

Well, sure. I showed my driver's license when registering. Seems very reasonable.

If we had the voter registration form from Ohio we’d likely see something along the lines of
I certify that I am an America citizen at the time of this application to vote under penalty of perjury

This seems to be found at the bottom next to the signature box.

I thought since that's 1 of 2 things required to vote in a federal election....it would already be taken care of.

I thinkbthe point here umis he wants people to PROVE they are citizens and the current process isn't enough to do so. Just checking a box somewhere isn't proof that you are a citizen.

In Ohio do you have to bring your birth certificate to prove citizenship? How do you prove it? What is used? A social security card doesn’t prove citizenship.

No, they can't.

In fact, apart from a valid birth certificate that can be verified by the hospital of your birth....there's not much to mark you as a US citizen at all.

With all of our technology, why cant we have our vote be treated like our money at a bank? Bank machines are all over the place.
create a voter card to be used like a bank card.
First prove citizenshp
Assign a voter number to it.
Touch screen voting, like an atm, but even more secure.
Takes picture, like an atm, but add along with it, facial recognition and fingerprints

Votes could be tallied immediately, once the voter verifies the record of the transaction as accurate hitting ok
It produces a record of your transaction, just like a teller machine does.

some form of ID is needed . my dear grandmother who did not drive still had to show her ID .
If ID is not required and proof of legal etc not required , then by golly i could show up with a beard and vote
then shave the beard and vote again and etc . Women and men could also wear make up and etc
and vote over and over again . Lets not support something just cause the liberal realm desires it to be so .

You are walking right into the trap my friend . THIS has always been what the elites desire .
an assigned number to an assigned digital system .
Now why would they want this . Cause if anyone does not conform , THEY NO BUY they no sell

The call for assigned digital ID will soon be heard in the land . And it wont just be about the illegal immigrants either .
