The Bible and Tradition are two important aspects of God's revelation. The two aspects are united in such a way that they cannot replace each other, and the word of God itself presents Tradition as the basis of the believer's faith;
"Keep on doing what you have learned and received and heard and seen in me. Then the God of peace will be with you." (Phil 4:9)
"nd what you heard from me through many witnesses entrust to faithful people who will have the ability to teach others as well." (2 Tim 2:2)
"Therefore, brothers, stand firm and hold fast to the traditions that you were taught, either by an oral statement or by a letter of ours." (2 Thessalonians 2:15)
“I praise you because you remember me in everything and hold fast to the traditions, just as I handed them on to you.” (1 Corinthians 11:2)
“We instruct you, brothers, in the name of (our) Lord Jesus Christ, to shun any brother who conducts himself in a disorderly way and not according to the tradition they received from us.” (2 Thessalonians 3:6)
For Saint Paul it is essential to confirm the faith of Christians not only with the word of God but also remember Tradition or oral preaching. The Apostle does not make any distinction between these two elements since they have the same importance and if we start to review all the scriptures, nowhere does it appear that the Christian must submit to what is written verbatim in the Bible, everything was born in 1550 with the birth of Protestantism, meanwhile in the Catholic Church there was always a clear awareness of the importance that the apostolic tradition has without underestimating the Holy Scriptures.
It is completely wrong to think that only the Bible can save us, Jesus never said it and it is not written in the Bible either. Jesus never wrote a holy book nor distributed Bibles, He founded a church and gave his gospel so that it would be announced to all men until the end of the world. It was in the apostolic tradition of the Church that the New Testament was written and accepted. The Church proclaims the sacred scriptures as the word of God in the years 393 and 397, uniting the old testament and the new. Meanwhile the Sacred Tradition existed.
