Vice President Kamala Harris has picked Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate in the 2024 election, the Democratic nominee for president announced on X Tuesday morning.

The vice president is scheduled to introduce Walz at a rally in Philadelphia on Tuesday evening before heading out on the campaign trail for a five-state tour of crucial swing states.

Walz has served as Minnesota’s 41st governor since 2019. He previously represented Minnesota’s 1st Congressional District in the U.S. Congress from 2007 until his election as governor.

It shows that the Democratic Party has no plans to be a centrist party any time in the near future.

I am reminded of that famous picture with Bill and Hillary Clinton yucking it up with Donald and Melania Trump. I think the original Trump candidacy was supposed to be a massive loss to help Hillary win. They misread Trump. And they misread how badly the Hillary campaign would perform. I actually blame the Democrats and the media for Trump. But I repeat myself. The Republicans had great options in 2016. The media promoted Trump just until he had enough delegates for the Republican convention.

Now the Lawfare State thinks they will still be able to imprison Trump so they can win. Or actually damage him. I mean why else would the Democratic Party nominee be from the fringe Left and their VP pick be equally fringey? They think they can win. And maybe they can. This is so crazy polarized. Civil war is one step closer today. And I am scared. The middle is vanishing away right before us.

I will go back to building my bunker now. As if I could afford to build a bunker. Maybe I'll just pray.
