An Arizona man connected to an alleged social media threat to kill former President and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has been taken into custody.

Ronald Lee Syvrud, a 66-year-old resident of Benson, was arrested by authorities on Thursday, according to a press releaseposted to the Cochise County Sheriff's Office’s Facebook page.

“This subject has been taken into custody without incident in Cochise County. We appreciate all of the information received and the incredible collaborative efforts with all of our public safety partners,” stated Cochise County law enforcement.

It seems a bit strange to have to say this..., but there are a LOT
of NUTBARS out there.

As in the case of the kid who previously tried to whack Trump,
the FBI is still trying to find some solid evidence (as far as I know)
WHY he tried to do this. Although, he apparently had a list of
public figures (from both political parties), that he thought he
wanted to whack.

Also, note that in the case of the Columbine High School shooting
by Eric Harris and Dylan Klebolt, the "myth" or "legend" of who they
were, and why they did this terrible murder, on the Internet, is
WRONG on almost every point. They were not social outcasts, who
were persecuted by jocks: they were not kids who didn't have friends,
or were into Goth culture. AND YET, there have been about 30
shooters who carried out murders in schools and public places, who
APPEALED to this fake "legend" and said that Eric and Dylan "inspired"
them to carry out shootings.

My point is, that when someone decides to "go postal" and try to
whack public figures, it may be because they are completely out of
touch with reality, and think that they are an incarnation of George
Washington, or Mohammed Ali.

Let the law enforcement agents do their careful homework, to try
to discover WHY this latest NUTBAR decided that he wanted to
kill Trump. Maybe, he just doesn't like the color red.


It's better for the rest of us, if we read to inform ourselves,
and build our own moral backbone, and gain skills that will
make it easier for us to earn a living in this life, and peace in
the life to come.
