Donald Trump on social media floated the idea that 'Crooked Joe Biden, the WORST President in the history of the U.S.' may try and crash the DNC and take back the nomination from Kamala Harris.

He's getting more unhinged daily.

Man, at this point, the Republicans should make Trump drop out of the race, and replace him with someone who is younger, tells the truth, and not part of the Tea Party movement. I'd vote Republican in 2024 if Mitt Romney ran.

90% of the Republicans do NOT WANT Mitt Romney. The tea party movement was the beginning of the conservative populist movement within the GOP attempting to try to stop the control which the elitist establishment Republicans had over the party. I am very happy that the establishment elitist ruling class GOP politicians have lost a lot of their control and influence within the GOP.

We might want to ask the millions of other Republicans of their opinion on Romney. I know a few Republicans who want the GOP to go back to the 1970-1980s (Nixon and Reagan era). Mitt Romney got nearly 48% of the vote in 2012 (that was 59M people). That means, basically all the Republicans supported him. :) The numbers do not lie, my brother. If Romney ran today, and Trump was not running, we would see similar percentages. But yes, I do not like elitists either, but it seems like Kamala, Walz and the Bidens are more elitists and worse. Heck, Joe Biden's wife praised the woke demonic Olympics ceremony.

Quote from Fox about Joe Biden's wife praising woke ceremony:

"First lady Jill Biden had high praise for the opening ceremony at the Paris Olympics this weekend, despite widespread criticism that the performance mocked the Last Supper. Biden led the U.S. delegation to the Olympics and called the opening ceremony 'spectacular.' Despite the festivity, heavy rain drenched the athletes from all nations as they paraded down the river Seine on boats."

Yes, I rarely use Fox News (or CNN either), but this is the article from Fox about Joe Biden's wife:

I think Mitt Romney has offended so many MAGA people that they would never forgive him.

That is true, hence why I like Romney. :) Also, if Nixon was still alive, I'd vote for Nixon (well, as long as there would be no Watergate 2).

Nixon was a genius, a remarkably capable and effective leader. Unfortunately he was also a mean, vindictive, untrustworthy person. If not for his lack of moral principles, he'd be considered one of the best presidents ever.

Correct, Nixon was one of the best leaders, but had major character flaws. If he had a better moral character, he would be the best president of the second half of the 20th century. :) Prayers for folks with character flaws, that these folks turn humble, and trust in God instead of themselves.

If the Republican voters in the primaries this year wanted someone similar to Mitt Romney, then I believe that Nikki Haley or even Ron DeSantis would have won the party nomination over Trump this year. Also, in 2016, if the primary voters wanted someone similar to Romney, then Trump would not have come anywhere close to winning the GOP nomination 8 years ago.

For myself, and also for my Catholic friend who is a bit more conservative, he believes Trump is popular cos of his popularity complex, but would not make a good leader. Trump has that grip on folks, and is a very good self-advertiser and entertainer. Both my friend and I give Trump credit for being good at getting folks around him, but we both agree that Trump is not fit to be in office (plus Trump is not as pro-life compared to other Republicans). Something happened to the GOP, and some Republicans want the GOP to go back to the good old days before populism. I am one of those folks.

Donald Trump even owns a private jet, and my trust for folks who own private jets is pretty low. My trust for the Democrats is just as low also, cos the Democrats have a huge influence (either direct, or indirectly) on Hollywood and the entertainment industry. Look at how woke Dr. Who and Star Wars have become under Disney.

Disney ruined Dr. Who:

In the GOP "good old days before populism" that party was run and lead by elitist establishment politicians. Is that something you and your friends really want?

Was the 1970s that bad? On the left, we had little to no wokeness in circa 1970, and on the right, we had Nixon who established the EPA to clean up the water in the US. :) So yes, I'd rather have Nixon-style presidents in 2024 over billionaires with private jets, but that is just me. No weird Olympics opening ceremonies supported by the far-left (except, there was the Munich Olympics attack* of 1972 by the Palestinian terror organization), and no Musk trying to buy out Donald Trump with his electric cars. Elon Musk was barely even a little boy back then in the 1970s, as he was born in '71. I am a 1970s man, born in '99, living in a 2020s world. Best classic rock music decade also.

At least we both agree that the left has gone woke, and are not a good party.

1970's...
- interesting decade/time.
- some historians consider/view..as a 'pivot of change' in world history.

Yes, it was. A great deal of new tech came out in the 1970s, such as computers with graphical interfaces, video game consoles (Atari), and fiber optics. It was a huge pivot in world history. Sadly, terror attacks began happening more in the 1970s, with the Munich attacks, and then the Iran hostage crisis of 1979. Also, there was an oil/energy crisis as well in the 1970s.

There are some hints from people in the Trump campaign, that Trump is tossing out these stories to lay the groundwork for another claim that yet another election was stolen from him.

Trump misses Biden. He wishes Biden would do something that weird because he's confident he can beat Biden. All that has changed, though. So he does what he does: he sows doubt on the process if he doesn't win. His supporters will buy that every time. That's his fall back. If he wins, it represents the will of the people. If he loses, it was stolen from him. lol
