  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Folks, there is a reason that in previous elections, we closed meme threads and cartoon threads that were political.
They get ugly and flaming.

From the Statement of Purpose:

It is weird....they're running on platforms and policies. To someone who hasn't been told what her platforms, positions, or policies are like Harris....that's going to seem weird.

Yeah....

Weird would be upset at being called a DEI hire while pushing for DEI hires.

You either want people who are hired on merit and competency...

Or you want people who fill certain racial/sex quotas....aka DEI hires.

Biden made it clear he would pick a woman as his VP then later....a colored woman. That's what he was looking for, that's what he got. You can't accept a job because you fill the racist ideals of the party and then get upset when people point it out.

That would be weird.
