One website, Nio Thinker, bills itself as “your go-to destination for insightful, progressive news and analysis that challenges the status quo” and hosts articles that bash former President Donald Trump and hail Vice President Kamala Harris as “our unexpected, awkward savior.”

What your article is saying is that foreign interests are targeting both sides of US politics to sow confusion and discord into the US political process. While the attack appears to be aimed at Democrats or Republicans the overall aim is to disrupt the US.

The problem is that some people will swallow this garbage without question and act in a way which is actually contrary to their own best interests.

By all means debate the issues but verify your information and understand the difference between information, opinion and disinformation.

Well, maybe you think so...but, according to the article you posted, they are targeting both sides, so they don't seem to be presenting a preference. On the other hand, it does seem as if Russia has:

I guess, in the end, we all should read anything and everything on the internet with a degree of skepticism and not accept websites without question.

As is Russia, and as in the past two elections, Russia is strongly in Trump's corner.
But I recognize that this occurs on both sides and that neither side can claim to be the sole victim.

We received internal Trump documents from ‘Robert.’ The campaign just confirmed it was hacked.

The campaign suggested Iran was to blame. POLITICO has not independently verified the identity of the hacker or their motivation.

No doubt there is misinformation going on ... on social media and regular news media as well ... people need to go to the candidates actual stated policies of what they intend to do and how they intend to accomplish them ... outside of that ... for the most part it's just a bunch of "hoorah".
