Adoption
Christians Receive the Spirit of Adoption
Rom 8:14 For as many (Christians) as are led by the Spirit of God, they (Christians) are the sons of God. Rom 8:15 For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but you (Christians) have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we (Christians) cry, Abba, Father. Rom 8:16 The Spirit itself bears witness with our (Christians) spirit, that we are the children of God:
We are Waiting for the Adoption
Rom 8:23 And not only they (whole creation), but ourselves (Christians) also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
Gentiles Receive the Adoption
Rom 9:4 Who are Israelites; to whom pertains the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;
Christians Receive the Adoption
Gal 4:3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: Gal 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, Gal 4:5 To redeem them (Christians) that were under the law, that we (Christians) might receive the adoption of sons. Gal 4:6 And because you (Christians) are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Gal 4:7 Wherefore you (Christians) are no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
Predestination Adoption of Christians
Eph 1:4 According as he (God) has chosen us (Christians) in him (Jesus) before the foundation of the world, that we (Christians) should be holy and without blame before him (God) in love: Eph 1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself (God), according to the good pleasure of his (God) will, Eph 1:6 To the praise of the glory of his (God) grace, wherein he (God) has made us (Christians) accepted in the beloved (title of Jesus). Eph 1:7 In whom (Jesus) we (Christians) have redemption through his (Jesus) blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
