Why don't we men don't have a disgust for impure sexual thoughts ?

Galatians 5:16,17. It is a matter of being in the Spirit or being in the flesh. The more a person focuses on being in the Spirit, the more flesh desire leaves. The more a person focuses on the flesh, the less that person is spiritual. So we should focus on walking in the Spirit, or that is, focusing on the image of Christ and trying to be like Him. This is a life long practice.

Romans 7:14,15; 8:1. We fail at times, but then, we are not condemned, as long as we keep focusing on the Spirit and keep trying. We may fail constantly, but we have to just keep trying. And eventually, we gain control.

When we accept Christ, we are regenerated in the Spirit, but the Old Man still is a part of us. The flesh nature will not leave us completely until we are united with Christ. So your struggle is what all Christian men go through. But by continuing to focus on Christ, you will get it right.

Impure sexual thoughts is sexual thoughts for a woman who is not your married wife.
As a single man impure sexual thoughts fantasies, is the same as fornication even if you are not really having unmarried sex with the woman, no real physical contact.
I got to be honest I do enjoy watching porn, I know it is a sin so I try not to watch that much. If orgy sex was not a sin I would have done it already, I am not disgusted by the thought of doing orgy sex, I should be because it is a sin.
Thing is as a hetero man I am disgusted by gay sex, bestiality, pedofilia, so I do not struggle with this sin, some do struggle with these sins for example listen to christians testimony who struggle with gay attraction.
But hetero sex, watching porn, impure sexual thought about a woman even if we are not really having sex, I am not disgusted by this sin like I am disgusted by gay sex.
Why can't we pray to have disgust for impure sex thoughts, watching porn, fornication, if we really disgust something it is easy to not do it or do the sin.

All lust of the flesh is repugnant to God, no matter the object.

As to your particular concern, that of one's normal attraction to the opposite sex, here is my own humble opinion and how I deal with it...

Firstly, I find it utterly impossible not to (as a male), on initial impulse, appraise the beauty of a female on first sight. It is at this moment, though, where I make a decision - concentrate on her face - or if unable to prevent lingering over and then appraising her body - look elsewhere. It is the lingering that allows the fantasizing to begin and full-blown lust is born.

Obviously it is of great advantage if the woman is dressed modestly. Ladies, men with godly integrity appreciate it!

We fellas have a beautiful mandate in Scripture to recite when faced with the temptation:

Job 31:1-4

"I made a covenant with my eyes
not to look lustfully at a young woman.
For what is our lot from God above,
our heritage from the Almighty on high?
Is it not ruin for the wicked,
disaster for those who do wrong?
Does he not see my ways
and count my every step?"

I practice this covenant in every situation, even at home alone watching the tv. If a woman appears who is dressed or behaving seductively, I'll flip the channel no matter how interesting the program. Just one reason that out of 200 or so channels I watch maybe 4 or 5, and then depending on the program.

Why? Because after all these years I have made a firm decision that NOTHING is going to come between me and fellowshipping with God, to the best of my ability. And it's great to be able to pray without stored pornographic images trying to interfere.

And yes, integrity is a great word to walk in, because we who practice it have great peace that we are treating all females in person with dignity and respect. Can't put a price on that. I even suspect that the ladies notice the difference in us.

Won't it be great in Heaven when we can all fully appraise each other's beauty without fear of ANY impulse invading our thoughts?
