No, they didn’t. They were reporting transactions made by their clients, not reversing an order they’d placed.

It looks like the data being reported upon is pulled from the company's SEC filings, not from some counter of transactions. They claim the same bug hit the filings of all of their options contracts. That should be easy enough to verify.

well most certainly there were shorted stocks in the past .... it's not so much that stocks got shorted .... but ... looking at what stocks got shorted and then looking at events that happened in correlation with those "moves".

Nothing wrong with looking at and considering these things.

Curious if this is one of those ideas that's correctable by evidence or not.

Often is hard to say ... what data is correct .... I believe of a healthy dose of skepticism in trying to discern things. Pretty much nothing is not out of the realm of possibility ... especially those who have power and $$$. Those entities tend to coalesce.

Had Trump died they would have made billions. Somebody knew something and it didn’t go according to plan. Any small time investor would never get money back from this kind of transaction. I smell a rat in this. This was no mistake it was a miscalculation.
