CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Regardless of whether one supports Kamala or Trump (I support neither), dang, that was a quick turnaround time for an advert to be produced and released. Imagine the caffeine consumption to make an ad this quickly.

I suspect that it was sitting on a shelf, ready to go, at least a week ago. Trump is smart enough to plan moves ahead in his chess game. it's a mark of a great leader.

I'm pretty sure that Trump's people prepared this in the event that Biden dropped out. They've made other moves already based on this bet, like saying they wouldn't schedule a VP debate until they were absolutely sure who the VP was. They probably started working on this right after the Presidential debate.

Do you think AI had any role in making the ad, or at least scripting parts of it? We live in an AI society nowadays.
AI kinda blew up in 2023, and I remember first being exposed to generative AI in April 2023 (Bing AI), and could only ask it 5 or so questions per day. Fast forward to July 2024, and now AI can script stuff, and I run a free, offline AI (Mistral 7B AI) on my computer to assist in making Bible devotionals.
This was one of the first questions I have asked an online AI (Bing AI/Copilot), on April 27, 2023: Why are One Piece and Hunter X Hunter good animes, while Naturo and Dragon Ball are bad?
It had this to say:
This is a very subjective question, as different anime fans may have different preferences and opinions on what makes an anime good or bad. However, based on some of the search results, here are some possible reasons why some people may prefer One Piece and Hunter X Hunter over Naruto and Dragon Ball:

Yep, he had planned for where the Democrats were going, before they even figured out where they were going. This is the kind of leader that we need to deal with strategic leaders like Putin and Xi. They plan strategies for decades in advance. They don't just react in the moment for what is thrown at them in the moment.
The Democratic Party still isn't sure where it's going, this late in the race.

The rock and the hard place that the Democrats are between, was being discussed among Conservatives long before the Democrats had called for Biden to step aside.
Conservatives were already discussing that a Harris campaign would be tainted by Biden's failures. They were also discussing the possibility of the Democrats considering Gavin Newsom; but his failures in CA also leave the Democrats vulnerable.

All I have to tell you, I am not liking the Democratic party anymore and have not since the woke stuff, and I want to vote 3rd party, ideally for a Christian candidate who is not woke. Peter Sonski fits the bill in my opinion, as he is Catholic and anti-woke. Even a Republican (Liz Cheney) seems to be a better option.

I have been voting Libertarian Party for Presidential candidates since 2008; but this election cycle is different. With the border crisis, rising inflation, the possibility of economic collapse, Social Security in peril, and teetering on the edge of WWIII, this election cycle is far too critical for me to throw a vote to the Libertarians on principle.

My coworker is a libertarian of the conservative type, and he might still vote Libertarian. But yes, we are on the edge of a strange era. I'd say, go with the Libertarians, as we need a third party, but I do see your point. For myself, the American Solidarity Party seems like a good choice, even though it is just a vote getting thrown away.

Our Founders promoted Libertarian principles. As Americans, Libertarian principles are Conservative. Voting either Right or Left in these times is generally a vote for Authoritarianism. It's a false dichotomy. Our founders believed in liberty.
Trump, in his efforts to drain the swamp, is a step toward restoring liberty, by taking power away from faceless, unelected, Bureaucrats, and bringing our nation back to a Republic, of the rule of laws made by elected representatives, not of codes written by the same Bureaucrats who enforce them.
A third Party will not win this Presidency; but it will influence the outcome of this election. I'm not willing to be complacent enough to take a chance for more of the same.
