First off, Halloween is demonic. Secondly, Trump Jr. needs to respect victims of attacks. Thirdly, showing underwear on Twitter/X is unprofessional, and fourthly, this is news from 2022. Not a fan of the Trump family, though prayers for Donald himself due to the attack, even if I may not support him.

Laughing at a joke someone made about a weird lovers quarrel between naked men at the Pelosi home nearly 2 years ago, which honestly is too much for most people to even try and consider, is relevant how?

You shared a meme and laughed at an inappropriate joke so we get to kill your dad, is that the theme?

What's the relevance of this 2 year old story now besides to remind us of the moral decrepitude of our "moral superiors" who demand we bow before them, I mean...

Though I appreciate the reminder of those who hate the American citizenry, this close to the murder of innocent bystanders during an attempt on the Presidents life it's really not needed.

Thank you for proving my case. It wasn't a "lovers quarrel." It was a political attack by a deranged person fueled by right-wing propaganda, but your side 1.) made light of the attack (as you just did and as Don Jr did in his post) and 2.) lied about the nature of the circumstances. (a lie that you apparently swallowed).

Have there been any serious, politically-motivated attacks more recent than that (and prior to the Trump attack)? This was the first that came to mind.

Either way, folks have had zero problems bringing up attacks on Republicans from longer ago than that. Is rehashing the past now a bad thing?

I didnt know about this before this thread.

I will say, the "Halloween costume" is not really dangerous rhetoric. Its simply personal vileness. How does a person get to such a state where he thinks this kind of thing is "ok"?

oh no, not tit for tat, just got to love the hypocrisy of the right, "[bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] how dare they make jokes about trump attemptes assasination, it's beyond vile to do such things." but say nothing about in the past whene their own people lied about pelosi's attack and made fun of him. Just as, "All this violent rhetoric from democrats." while ignoring similar remarks by trump and others, the way they lied about the election, many on the right call democrats in league with the devil, satanists, and so on. it's bad when the left does it, but it's just as bad when the right does it.
