In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

We will have to see what happens in November 2024. I am not a fan of either candidate, but it is somewhat fun watching both of them duke it out.

Yeah, I do not want to give to any campaign, as the money could go to better purposes, instead of Joe or Trump. I'd rather give to the poor, or to a church. I mainly give to the poor, but should give to my local church more. Maybe Joe should give his campaign money to helping the poor, instead of making expensive ads. Same with the Trump campaign.

Whew, that is a lot of money. I smell corruption in the air. The bigger the monetary amount I see in the news, the higher my corruption-meter displays, until it breaks. Trump has caused my meter to shatter, as shown below.

Yeah, no one has tossed in $100M for the democrats, yet. But, do you agree that both parties should get equal funding, and have donations capped at $10M, so that 3rd parties could have a fighting chance?
