  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

“We have to fight back against a rogue prosecutor who is trying to take a presidential candidate off the campaign trail. It sabotages Missourians’ right to a free and fair election,” the post continued.
A free and fair election is at the heart of a democratic process.

This matter could have been tried and adjudicated long before his campaign started were it not for his $100 million dollar legal team pushing delay after delay after delay. That tactic is working in the other three cases still, but if the Supreme Court correctly determines that former presidents do not enjoy immunity from criminal acts that trial could begin as early as September.

In other words, it was the convicted felon's own fault.

There was no reason for these trials accept to try and help Joe Biden win. The effort was made to convict Trump not too far before the elections and make sure the appeal decisions, which Trump will win because of the numerous violations of our Constitution by Democrats, will not happen until after the election. There is no question that election interference is taking place by some rogue Democrats who believe they should decide who the next American president will be.

The overwhelming majority of appeals fail. In the few that succeed, the verdict is not overturned but a new trial is ordered.
On the other hand, seeing him tried and convicted a second time would be absolutely delicious.

Offhand the only thing that seems unconstitutional is this law suit. States have no right to interfere in the internal running of other states.
This will be summarily dismissed, (with prejudice), Missouri has no standing, it suffered no ill, there is no “injury” that can be articulated , let alone litigated.

No, it would be another sad day should this eventuality actually happen.

No president is going to be canonized anytime soon, but for the most part part, they were decent and caring men who could hide their flaws a bit better than most.

Ps 106:3 Blessed are those who uphold justice.

I would rejoice that justice had been done twice.
At least Trump was actually cognitively fit to stand trial. Unlike someone else.

Was he? He kept nodding off in court, had episodes of flatulence, was disruptive and needed to be verbally gagged for all the angry, vicious, and dangerous rhetoric he spewed at the courts, the witnesses and the jury. There was little cognitive fitness presented by the defendant.

Does this mean the classified documents case and the hush money convictions should be dropped? Seeing how cognitively disabled Trump is.

If the alternative is him being locked up for his own safety, I'm okay with that trade.

Are you also suggesting that the 25th ammendment be implemented and Biden being locked up. You know? For his own safety?

The 25th Amendment no longer applies to Trump, so you are comparing apples and oranges.
I am talking about Biden. If we are to hold Biden and Trump to the same standard, Biden should be tried for mishandling classified documents and sharing classified information with his ghost writer, or removed from office under the 25th ammendment. If Biden is unfit to be accountable for the very thing his DOJ raided Trump's home, then Biden is not fit to remain in office. Any other option suggests that there is a hypocritical double standard in our justice system that favors the DNC. But as Fantine said,
Ps 106:3 Blessed are those who uphold justice.

I would rejoice that justice had been done twice.
Apparently Psalm 106:3 is not something the DNC respects.

This thread is about Trump. Why are you continually off topic?
