Good night daisy day , you been here on this site longer than i have been a christain .
Its been about twenty one years . i seen two thousand and three .
By grace i was drawn to the glorious LORD on may thirtieth in the year of our LORD two thousand and six .
Been reading that bible daily for hours too , ever since . Man the truth is so lovely . i always get stirred up
when reading it and what wonderful reminders .

And what do these tv evangelists all have in common . i mean WHY is it televised .
TO GET MONEY and DONATIONS . i dont seem to remember hearing about peter or paul
carrying around a cup for donations wherever they went and perfoming miralces
to be seen of men and asking for donations for such miracles . DO YOU .
Its but a way to make money is all this is . Very sad to see it too .

When I say "support", I mean general political support, not support of her particular stance on this issue.

Apathy or "a quick chuckle" about this topic would still represent a difference in response compared to what was displayed during covid.

During covid, a person saying "yeah, I don't think cloth masks do much, so I'm not gonna wear one" or "I don't really think a healthy 22 year old needs to rush out and get a jab if they just got over covid" was enough to get a person labelled "persona non grata" by the progressive base that are presumably fans of Cori Bush. (regardless of what the person's other positions were)

Yet, she is espousing views about a medical situation that's arguably just as serious as covid, and getting very little pushback from the left on it.

There were people who were basically getting basically blacklisted for saying something like "natural immunity is better than vaccine induced immunity, so if you just had covid and recovered, you don't need to race out for a pfizer jab"


The statement of "Cori Bush thinks she can cure cancer with touch therapy"...but replace "Cori Bush" with a republican's name, and replace "cancer" with "covid", and I suspect some people from Cori's own side would be having a very different visceral reaction to it.

No, when I first saw Hinn in the 80's I thought it was fake, and even after I became a Christian I didn't believe in faith healing until it happened to a brother-in-law 15 years ago. He had a shoulder problem that needed surgery but he didn't have health insurance and out of desperation he saw a Catholic priest healing ministry and what happened to my in-law was like the Benny Hinn show. I also have my own testimony so this Cori Bush claim is not surprising to me but I do understand how it sounds crazy to a lot of folks.

I guess it is a bigger squad than I realized too.
