  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It seems 2024-5 is the time for earth shaking to begin, no?? New Madrid...? California coast and tsunami....? I would take a wild guess and say by Dec. 24 there will be some earth changing calamities
and people need to be ready. We have had the easy times. They are ending. Be good to other Christians. Thats what Christ would do...or a lot of people have it wrong..

Do you have any sources? We are near or in the end times, but a source would be great. Why 2024-2025, and not 2030, or 2040, or 2050?

New Madrid is considered way overdue. And it will be a corker. But what do you base your 2024 before Christmas opinion on.

I live in St. Louis County, which is in the New Madrid Seismic Zone. Hundreds of small quakes occur every year in the NMSZ, but are too small to be felt and are only detectable by instrumentation. I have an earthquake rider on my homeowner's insurance. Along with other optional coverage, it adds about $900 to my yearly premium. And there's a 15% deductible. But the rider also covers me for volcanic eruption. Which will come in handy when the Yellowstone caldera blows. If anyone is still alive file a claim. :oldthumbsup:

The bible tells Christians:

“Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.” (Ga 6:10 NKJV)

Nothing about doing good particularly (or only) during earth-changing calamities.

I felt two quakes in my college time in St. Louis. One faint and one a corker that found me jolted awake and standing in my bed. Glad I do not live there now. But I've considered how I might help from 500 miles away when the big one comes.

just my estimate. Lots of time listening to Bill Salus,Perry Stone,Endtime Watchers,and many others. But things will be slower than many expect, many gaps along the way..I would guess the triB doesn't start until about 2028..

OK bro. I'm leaving, as we will not know the hour. Honestly, this stuff gets boring real quickly, though I do agree that Jesus might return in my lifetime.
