  • God created a diverse world, and in the context of globalization, man strives for a state of babel. Now American culture is actively advancing in the world, which is slowly displacing or influencing the culture of other peoples, but is this a good thing? Shouldn't globalization take place under a Christian cultural foundation?

The Catholic Church looks favourably on the interconnectedness of nations and peoples. Globalisation represents an opportunity to combat global poverty, foster peace and promote human rights.

Catholic thinkers often refer to the words of Pope John Paul II that "globalization, a priori, is neither good nor bad. It will be what people make of it.”

There are opinions throughout the Church but there really is no official position.

It’s not a perfect world and it could be used for good or not. Just like anything.
