In James 4:10, it says, "Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up." This verse highlights the importance of humility before God, acknowledging His sovereignty, grace, and authority in our lives. By humbling ourselves before God, we demonstrate our dependence on Him and our willingness to submit to His will. Additionally, in Philippians 2:3, it says, "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves." This verse emphasizes the importance of humility in our relationships with others, showing respect, kindness, and consideration towards them. By practicing humility before both God and man, we reflect the character of Christ and cultivate a spirit of love, unity, and servanthood in our interactions.
