Colossians 1:


This filling happened at the time of creation, not around the time of Jesus' resurrection. Eph 4:10 seems to be talking about the time of the cross.

If Eph 4:10 is not physically filling, then what is its significance?

Paul continued in Colossians 1:


Jesus descended to the lowest realm and ascended to the highest realm to 'fill' all and fulfill the prophecy that he should be preeminent of all things.

Adams Rib is an interesting study.

The actual Hebrew rendering evokes the classical Adams Rib understanding… yet it also renders that Eve was DRAWN or taken from the location of Adams Rib in proper translation and poetic intent.

Eve is a picture of Humanity.

Adam is a Type for God. Paul affirms this with his “First and Last” Adam Rhetoric.

How far back does one want to “Draw” this Spiritual “Truth” out? That is up to each person and leading of Christ within their tabernacle.

Me? I believe that when Jesus dwelled physically on earth… one could say that The True Tabernacle of God, built of the Substance of the Very Logos and fashioned by the Hands of God, dwelled within the Tabernacle of God, fashioned of the substance of God, by the very Hands of God, Who traveled from the Spiritual Tabernacle of God, fashioned of the very Spiritual Substance of God, by the very Hands of God, to the Physical Tabernacle of God, that God, Spiritually, through His created mechanism of human Creation, could become One with His Creation… or more biblically say; In the Beginning was the One True Summation and Being of Divinity, and The Logos was with God, and the Memra was God… AND THE WORD BECAME Sarx.
