Hebrews 1

1 Long ago God spoke to the fathers by the prophets at different times and in different ways.

From Genesis to now, God had spoken to the Lineage of Adam to Noah, Noah to Shem, Shem to Abraham, Abraham to Isaac, Isaac to Jacob, Jacob to Moses, Moses to Joshua, Joshua to all following men of Israel through these chosen Men, all the way up to the "MAN" of Dt 18:17,18,19 who the very Law of Moses prophesied to clarify many things about Himself and His direct relationship with mankind and nation kind. God used Prophetic Actions, Shadows (Types), Words, Repeating Analogies, Entire Stories that were Parables and Real occurrences, simultaneously, Foretelling Words, dreams and so forth.

2 In these last days, He has spoken to us by His Son. God has appointed Him heir of all things and made the universe through Him.

Now, as of these very days, following the long historical lead up to Jesus, God has revealed the "Final Prophet" foretold within MOSES.

Deuteronomy 18:17 The Lord said to me: “What they say is good. 18 I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their fellow Israelites, and I will put my words in his mouth. He will tell them everything I command him. 19 I myself will call to account anyone who does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name.

Red - YHWH, and YHWH speaking

Purple - His Royal Prophet

Green - Humanity

John 1:3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.

1 Peter 1:20 He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was made manifest in the last times for the sake of you

The SON has NEVER, not Existed. The Father has KNOWN the SON and the SON has known the Father forever and INFINITY. Long before this Universe was Created by The Father, through the Son, THEY had ONE Another. Now, at this very time, the SON was REVEALED to us, for the selfless sake of US.

2 But now, in the acharit-hayamim, he has spoken to us through his Son, to whom he has given ownership of everything and through whom he created the universe.

acharit-hayamim "A term in Jewish theology that refers to events that will occur at the end of days, such as the coming of the Messiah, the afterlife, and the resurrection of the dead. This area of Jewish theology is known as Jewish eschatology."

In modern english translations, the term gets transliterated to "These Last Days"

Hebrews is written to the Jews who have witnessed the Fulfillment of the OLD COVENANT! The FIRST coming of the Messiah was a direct fulfilment of what JEWS considered to be "THE LAST DAYS". There's a lot more to this in reference to the NEW COVENANT and the Literal People and Land of Jacob, but that is another day and another study.

3 The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact expression of His nature,

Colossians 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God

Revelation 4:11 “Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.”

John 14:9-10 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works.

Colossians 2:9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

Gold - Tri-Unity (2320 [e] / Theotētos / Godhead / Θεότητος / Deity / N-GFS) <- This word is a single occurrence word in the Greek.

There are 4 main camps of thought involving the BEING of God.

1: Trinity - HARD Division of the Being of God, of ONE Substance (Essence), Three "Distinct" subsistence's that share the SAME Essence (Substance)

This is a very impersonal way to show the matter. It's like showing up on your wedding night and pulling out a math equation that is your intended plans for the celebration. It is the collective result of combatting Unitarianism that originated around 260 AD from a theologian named (Arius). The collective Body that understood the critical importance of understanding the mechanism of Salvation as revealed by Jesus Christ to us knew that it was CRITICAL to understand that God is SIMULTANEOUSLY ONE, YET THREE. All of the Body infighting over this matter led to some unfortunate events. Arianism isn't actually indicative of slaughtering someone as a heretic, but, alas, it happened. So, what happened next? Everybody and their Brother gave up on showing that God is Utterly ONE, as surely that HE is utterly THREE. The Hardline stance that was adopted, was to indoctrinate those that didn't personally study with the "TRINITY" Doctrine.

Trouble is, people that only memorized the idea had utterly no idea how God is also genuinely ONE. It was decided that not only would the Body double down on the Trinity doctrine, but that it would continually legally evaluate words on a level that became disastrous. Theological nerds that memorize all of these various "Heresies" get so flush full of all of the doctrines of man, that they forget everything spoken of has to do with Biblical Canon and is contained within Biblical Canon. If you find yourself excited to reveal what the Holy Spirit of Christ has revealed to you about the amazing Being of God and some Doctrine of Men warrior desires to label you with some Heretical "ISM"... ask them to build Doctrine from Canon Alone to proof that God is Three, then turn around and build the Doctrine to prove that God is One from Biblical Canon, Alone. They'll fold their cards every time, because you just can't do it without violating one of the umpteen thousand (Exaggerating to make a point) Trinity Heresy accusations! Why is this? Because everyone was, at a point, trying to defend an extrapolated man made doctrine that was essentially full of so many eraser marks that the paper got worn thin and weathered. It happens! This doctrine can get you through scripture, but it won't reveal the very Romance and Love that God intended us to see within scripture! MAKE NO MISTAKE, the Bible is God's LOVE LETTER to His Cherished Creation.

Allow me to share the woes that Brick and Mortar based believers that don't dive into scripture run into with the inability to proof this in scripture, during witness. Father, Son and Holy Spirit, One God, Three Persons. Same Essence, but distinct subsistence's. Three Personalities, but not three Persons, well, kind of Three Persons, but Not actual divided Persons, just One God with Three Personalities, Well, not Personalities, but subsistence's... wait, did I just commit heresy? Hold up, let me read through the 7 trillion pages of opinions on the one single page... wait... which Creed do I use?!? Um... yeah... Father, Son and Holy Spirit. 3 but 1. Give this to someone in good faith and they will be able to hobble around with it, but put them in front of a Unitarian Jew, Muslim, Christian Adoptionist or Atheist with actual Biblical questions that understand Greek, Manuscripts, Hebrew, Aramaic and the squishy words that are a result of the Post Diaspora Jews blurring the Name of God, within scripture to prevent their enemies from learning it... and they will be eaten alive.

2: Unitarianism- Bottom line, this doctrine always has some way to insinuate that Jesus was "Created" and usually that the HOLY SPIRIT is just a "Force, Will or Power" of the Father towards creation. It's named "Unitarian" because it is a simple way of saying that the adherents to this belief Believe that ONLY THE FATHER is God. Every other mental gymnastic that occurs beyond this is simply a flowing way of defending that ONLY God the Father is Actually TRUE God. Side note... the most advanced form of Unitarianism is Adoption... and let me tell you, though I can't agree with this view, due to all scripture, they are typically 100 notches above your typical believer, when it comes to biblical knowledge! These folks are deadly accurate at defending their position in scripture, by going to the codex's, manuscripts, fragments and every known source of scripture on God's green earth. If Adoptionist's would accept church positions to teach the Tri-Unity of God, they would be better at it than MOST! They would then go home and go back to Adoption. I'm not kidding, I respect the living daylights out of these theologians! Do I disagree with them... You bet ya. Do I take them for granted? Nope! They studied to earn their theological chops!

Um... I'm having to edit this. I met a new covenant Adoptionist, today! So, there's that. I don't even know where to put this!

3: Modalism- Bottom line, this flat out says that God is Jesus, period. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are all identically ONE and not distinct. Ironically, this actually has more supporting scripture than the final understood Trinity doctrine, but it runs into theological walls at more difficult passages.

4: Tri-Unity of God (This is my opinion and I'll just slap a Link in that shows how I have actively gone about proofing it within scripture). If it was to become a label, it would be TriUneitarian. The e must remain in place to ensure the One of the aspect is understood.

3 continued- sustaining all things by His powerful word.

The Son is referred to as the LOGOS or MEMRA, which are words that mean the very summation of Wisdom, Existence, Origin, Truth, ALL Things... Logos is Greek and Memra is Hebrew, but in short, these words get translated to WORD. This is a direct way of saying that The very Physical Presence of God is the summation of all things GOOD, intellectually incomprehensible and meaningful that define TRUTH. To get direct, just as we use our Bodies to accomplish our Purposes, The BODY of the FATHER is the SON. Once this concept is fully "grasped" <- theological pun, it becomes obvious that it is the Son who sustains ALL of existence known, and unknown. This doesn't mean "Micro Manage". What it means is to provide the very Love, energy, substance and interaction required to maintain All of All that God has EVER Created! Want an idea of what that looks like?

Job 38-42

3 continued- After making purification for sins,

Colossians 1:20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

2 Corinthians 5:18,19,20,21 All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

3 He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

1 Peter 3:22 who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers having been subjected to him.

Acts 7:56 “Look,” he said, “I see heaven open and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.”

Study on the word Right Hand, in the Hebrew:

Isaiah 41:13: “For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.” Right hand – Hebrew: Yamen – right hand.

In ancient culture, the right hand was always a symbol of strength as the right hand for most people was one’s dominant hand. It was the right that you extended when you shake hands with someone as it was believed your heart was in your right hand. Hence when you shake hands you are sharing your heart with someone. The handshake had a much stronger meaning in those days.

All that is considered good came from your right hand. Before the advent of toilet paper, it was your left hand that performed the tasked. Hence the left hand came to represent all that is bad, corrupted and soiled.

As the right hand was, in most cases, the dominant hand it was considered the most powerful hand and when speaking of a metaphor the right hand in Hebrew culture represent strength and power. The word for right hand in Hebrew is “Yamen” and means, get this, right hand. Do you ever have the problem of looking a word up in the back of Strong’s or your Lexicon and having it tell you what you already know? There are some other ways to get insight into a Hebrew word. For instance, the word is spelled “Yod, Mem, Nun.” The Yod speaks of a message from heaven, the Mem speaks of a revelation from heaven and the Nun tells you that this revelation will give you strength and power.

Tomorrow, we will have to dive in to a simplified pictorial representation of the Jewish Tabernacle. This is How deep Hebrews really is! We are only 3 verses in and it is full of things that are the very deepest depths of the Gospel. It is by far, the most Revelatory book in the New Testament! See you there, tomorrow.

Hebrews 1 (CEV Easy Read)

Long ago in many ways and at many times God's prophets spoke his message to our ancestors. 2 But now at last, God sent his Son to bring his message to us. God created the universe by his Son, and everything will someday belong to the Son. 3 God's Son has all the brightness of God's own glory and is like him in every way. By his own mighty word, he holds the universe together.

After the Son had washed away our sins, he sat down at the right side of the glorious God in heaven. 4 He had become much greater than the angels, and the name he was given is far greater than any of theirs.

God's Son Is Greater than Angels

5 God has never said
to any of the angels,
“You are my Son, because today
I have become your Father!”
Neither has God said
to any of them,
“I will be his Father,
and he will be my Son!”
6 When God brings his first-born Son into the world, he commands all of his angels to worship him.

7 And when God speaks about the angels, he says,

“I change my angels into wind
and my servants
into flaming fire.”
8 But God says about his Son,

“You are God,
and you will rule
as King forever!
Your royal power
brings about justice.
9 You loved justice
and hated evil,
and so I, your God,
have chosen you.
I appointed you
and made you happier
than any of your friends.”
10 The Scriptures also say,

“In the beginning, Lord,
you were the one
who laid the foundation
of the earth
and created the heavens.
11 They will all disappear
and wear out like clothes,
but you will last forever.

like a garment.

Hebrews 1 (NLT Readability and Accuracy)

Long ago God spoke to our early fathers in many different ways. He spoke through the early preachers. 2 But in these last days He has spoken to us through His Son. God gave His Son everything. It was by His Son that God made the world. 3 The Son shines with the shining-greatness of the Father. The Son is as God is in every way. It is the Son Who holds up the whole world by the power of His Word. The Son gave His own life so we could be clean from all sin. After He had done that, He sat down on the right side of God in heaven.

The Son Was Greater Than the Angels

4 The Son of God was made greater and better than the angels. God gave Him a greater name than theirs. 5 God did not say to any of His angels, “You are My Son. Today I have become Your Father.” And He did not say to any angel, “I will be a Father to Him. He will be a Son to Me.” 6 But when God brought His first-born Son, Jesus, into the world, He said, “Let all the angels of God worship Him.” 7 He said this about the angels, “He makes His angels to be winds. He makes His servants a burning fire.” 8 But about His Son, He says, “O God, Your throne will last forever. Whatever You say in Your nation is right and good. 9 You have loved what is right. We (humans) are "Tri-Cot" IE... Body, Soul and Spirit... and very specifically "Made in the IMAGE OF GOD". Made in the IMAGE of GOD <- Appearance, Tri-Cot, Made By the VERY IMAGE of God, We were literally Created as held within HIS IMAGE until we were Deceived (We had Fellowship with the Son).

1 Thessalonians 5:23 says, "May your whole spirit, soul and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ"

Genesis 2:7 when[l] Yahweh God formed the man[m] of dust from the ground, and he blew into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.

Here 'man of dust' stands for body

'breath of life' for spirit

'living creature' for soul

If someone is desiring to be given an idea on how to grasp this, I will usually say something like the following: If you SEE Jesus (The Son), YOU'VE SEEN the Father... yet... ug... NOONE has SEEN The Father...

But... Check this out... If I've Seen You, I've Seen your SPIRIT, but yet, ONLY you "SEE your own Spirit, Spiritually speaking".

The Holy Spirit? Your Soul is intertwined with the INDWELLING of Christ's HOLY SOUL (Ghost).

Jesus, The Son, Is the very Physical Presence of God!

The Father is the very Uncontainable essence of the Infinite Being, The very SPIRIT of GOD that is INVISIBLE and not only eternal, but Infinite!

The HOLY GHOST is the VERY SOUL of God! When Jesus died on the Cross, His Holy Ghost was made alive in Sheol... where He broke many Souls out of. Would you like the bible verse?

God, too, is Body, Soul and Spirit, like us. Only, HIS setup is infinitely more amazing, sincere and just plain... WOW!

1: God pre-exists all things by INFINITY. He has NEVER NOT been.
2: God is Tri-Cot, in that He has a Body, Soul and Spirit
3: God's Body is known to be His Son, God's Soul is known to be HIS HOLY SPIRIT, God's Uncontainable Being... Essence, Infinite Spiritual (Essence) Substance is known to be THE FATHER.
4: You can't see the "Invisible Substance or Infinite Spirit of God"... The Father
5: When you See God in scripture at ANY place, you are seeing His Body (Physical Manifestation / Presence / The Son)
6: God Created everything that exists in all dimensions, The Heavenly Realm and The Realm of our Universe containing Earth, as a physical Being... that is to say, His Essence Created and Manipulated Matter "Through the USE of HIS BODY (SON)".
7. Why is this so stinking important to refer to TriUne God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit? Because before God had created any "Fellowship" of any kind, He has ALWAYS had a Loving, Relational Relationship Between Father, Son and Holy Spirit. While "we" are much more simple, God is of infinite Magnitudes much more Complex.
8. Why is it a relief that we are made in His Image? Because it's pleasant to know that when we get to Heaven, and one unknown day when He comes back to earth... we won't be terrified to find that God is some PURPLE Octopus Creature with Hands for Eyes, Toes for ears, Swords for Hands and, well... etc... etc...
9. The Greeks called the Sum of all Truth, Substance, Wisdom, Existence etc... etc... "Logos"... So, John is prepping to explain to a GREEK culture that the LOGOS (Translates to WORD)... is about to perform the SPIRITUAL equivalent of BECOMING .... Speaking in a Spiritual sense, not a Carnal sense.... Maritally Speaking, ONE FLESH with ALL of Creation that God Created.

This is to say..... The Creator, GOD ALMIGHTY is about to bypass the mechanism of Carnal Sexual Procreation that He created, yet He is using the Mechanism of BIRTH through Mary (For Actual Blood Line... and no doubt that is a fact, because He tended that Bloodline all throughout scripture... and even smited a dude for tampering with it)..... The Virgin Birth..... to Spiritually and Symbolically MARRY HIS CREATION, (Spiritually Consummating) to the very Physical Presence of Himself, that He Created Creation Through, to Creation which HE LOVES. (BRIDE GROOM & Bride) (Creator & Creation)

10. God's Very Uncontainable Essence that we Know as THE FATHER, REMAINS in Heaven, While His Physical Presence (HIS SON) is now Growing as a teeny tiny Baby within Mary's Womb, which signifies the Very Womb of Israel, yet also... all the way through bloodline, back to EVE... The very Womb of All Humanity.
11. Because God is ONE SUBSTANCE of Being... sometimes people get fancy and say Spiritual Essences of God's Substance that make up HIS BODY, SOUL AND SPIRIT, which are indeed "Distinct", Just like your Body is distinct from Your Soul and your Soul is Distinct from your Spirit... etc... etc... etc... yet though you Have a Body, Soul and Spirit... It is YOU. Your Body is YOU. Your Soul is You. Your Spirit is You. Etc... etc....

So, because God is of ONE SUBSTANCE, and HIS PHYSICAL PRESENCE is now Married to Humanity, through the womb and bloodline of MARY.... We can say... "For this reason a SON shall Leave HIS FATHER to Join With His Wife".... which Ephesians says (Ephesians 5:28 In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29 After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church— 30 for we are members of his body. 31 “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.” 32 This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ (Bride Groom) and the church (Bride).

12. The Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ... John 14:26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.

Rom 8:9 You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him.

Rom 8:10 But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

Rom 8:11 If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

Rom 8:12 So then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh.

Rom 8:13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

Rom 8:14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

Rom 8:15 For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, "Abba! Father!"

Rom 8:16 The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,

Zechariah 9:11

The soul is immortal and sentient. If it wasn't Jesus wouldn't have said things that will be discussed in this post.

First Order Logic. Jesus is the very Presence of God, therefore "it is certain" that "if" He even insinuated that the Soul is immortal and capable of being sentient outside the body, that the Soul "is indeed" immortal.

I am certain of this not by personal pet theology, but because of God Incarnate's very own words. Jesus didn't just ENTER Sheol (The scripturally referenced Place of the Dead) and break sentient souls from the grasp of Satan, but He prophesied He would do that very thing in one of His most riveting statements involving one of the most potent words in scripture.

Okay, Ba' al, the Pegan name for the Highest Pagen god. al-Zibbul, Of the Flies. Satan is the "god of death", because where ever death is, flies will surely be buzzing. Now, Jesus slips in a prophecy, while He is lambasting the Teachers of the Torah in the only passage of scripture where Jesus does this. (I was kidding about the only passage of scripture thing).

Jesus is literally saying that the KEYS of Death (AKA to the Realm of The Dead) are about to become HIS.

(Revelation 1:8) I am He that liveth, and was dead; and behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen, and have the keys of hell and of death.

The Strong Man in Mark 3 is Satan. Jesus BOUND SATAN (Jude 1:6) at Golgotha.

It is immediately after the ascension that Jesus has Michael cast Satan and his Angels down to this earth, where they are CHAINED in the Darkness of this Dying Earth that awaits Jesus Christ's PHYSICAL Return.

Okay, but what about where the HOLY SPIRIT (VERY SOUL) of Jesus Christ was when Jesus Christ was Made Dead in the Realm of the Living? Jesus and His Father Share the Same Identical SOUL. "Do you not believe that MY Father is IN ME, as I am IN MY FATHER?" HOLY GHOST, HOLY SPIRIT, HOLY SOUL..... Don't get hung up on the fact that Soul in Hebrew is Spirit in Greek and all that Jazz. This is simple. Spirit of God, The Father is Spirit. Body of God - The Son (Messenger of YHWH with the name of YHWH written within Him). That Leaves THE SOUL. God is Infinite. I'm pretty certain that I'm susceptible to mob violence at this moment, but I'm working up for my study in Hebrews and this was the best place to do it.

I'm handing over a "pearl" here! Someone who blasphemes against the Ruach HaKodesh is blaspheming against the FATHER, BECAUSE The Father and the Son... SHARE the SAME Soul! The Rich Man dies and was buried. (GRAVE) NOT SHEOL.

The Beggar is "Carried to Abraham's side"... and this PARABLE is being told before Jesus died, so why not HEAVEN?

Hebrews 11:39 These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised, 40 since God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.

Here the Greek equivalent for Sheol is used and we see that the Pharisee is Tormented and Jealous that Lazarus is living in the good part of the Realm of the Dead.

24 So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’

The Pharisee sees that Lazarus is at Spiritual Peace, while the Pharisee is full of horrible anguish and asks if Lazarus can simply give him a drop of the Peace that he witnesses within Lazarus.

Abraham is revealing to the Pharisee that he had recognition, wealth and the rewards of being a selfish hard hearted man that was perceived as Righteous in the Flesh to others. He then points out that Lazarus was simple and lowly, thus poor and spited by many in his life. Abraham politely tells the Pharisee that his inner agony isn't a thing to be washed away. There is only true Spiritual peace available to the POOR OF SPIRIT, the MEAK, the BROKEN HEARTED.

26 And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.’

The Pharisee is convicted in his Heart and has repented. Yet there is no way to go from the bad side to the good side, not to mention that Abraham is stuck in a nice place, within Sheol, yet not HOME, yet.

27 “He answered, ‘Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family, 28 for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’

This unknown dead Pharisee is convicted and asks that somehow the GENTILES who are HUNGRY for JESUS (Lazarus is also a metaphor for Gentile nations) can go and witness to his Hard Hearted Torah teaching brothers... so that they do not live with the inner anguish that the unknown Pharisee is living with. The REPENTANT Pharisee is also asking for a DEAD Soul to go in GHOSTLY form to convict his Stone Hearted brethren of... THE GOSPEL of Jesus Christ (Living Water)... as he sees it's results manifested in the Peace within Lazarus.

29 “Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’

Jesus was foretold in Torah, but the pride of his 5 brothers is too great for them to see it.

Now, in this place of the dead, The repentant Pharisee is begging that Lazarus, the saved meek man that is a literal occurrence in Sheol and a figurative prophecy of the Gentiles to come... go and witness to his hard hearted kin. This is a picture of unbelieving Israel and believing Israel that gives up it's identity to be part of THE BODY OF CHRIST. It is also a picture of a soul in Sheol Repenting. 31 “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”

These 5 didn't BELIEVE in Jesus when HE was right in front of them. I assure you, the one brother here, REPENTED before the HOLY SPIRIT of CHRIST when He entered Sheol... and found salvation. Why do I never use this verse to refute the doctrine of Limited Atonement? Because it is too special of a verse to utilize as it reveals the very presence of Ruach HaKodesh operating VISUALLY in the Realm of the DEAD.

But, if we are only going to be with God when He RETURNS and we are RESSURECTED, then Why did Jesus say this in person or through His Apostles?

John 14:2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?

Paul, the TENT MAKER (Spiritual for Maker of Spiritual Tabernacle and literal in career)... Talks about our Tabernacles, as in Houses of the Holy Spirit of Christ, Groaning towards DEATH. Mortality swallowed up... This is a talk of our death!

5 And the One who prepared us for this very purpose is God, who gave us the Spirit as a down payment.

We are prepared with Death and SEALED by the same Holy Spirit of Christ that Jail Broke SHEOL!

6 So, we are always confident and know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord.

If we read this to mean that it is not about death, it still has spiritual value that is wise. BUT... I haven't given VERSE 1, just YET. It is saying that when we are ALIVE on Earth (Home in the Body and double so IN THE BODY OF CHRIST here at present), we are Absent from Jesus.

7 For we walk by faith, not by sight, 8 and we are confident and satisfied to be out of the body and at home with the Lord.

When this TENT Dies, we will be Home with Jesus, IN HEAVEN! The Church needed to be assured of this because it was being slaughtered in droves, 1 Tent at a time! Lions! How do we KNOW we will go to be with HIM upon death? We have FAITH!

This same Paul said this in Philippians 1:23 But I am hard-pressed from both directions, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, for that is very much better;

Paul is longing for DEATH... SO HE can be with JESUS! He wants to go to HEAVEN. He knows that His Soul will go there upon death and believed this so sternly that this occurred: Foxes Book of Martyrs "Paul, the apostle, who before was called Saul, after his great travail and unspeakable labors in promoting the Gospel of Christ, suffered also in this first persecution under Nero. Abdias, declareth that under his execution Nero sent two of his esquires, Ferega and Parthemius, to bring him word of his death. They, coming to Paul instructing the people, desired him to pray for them, that they might believe; who told them that shortly after they should believe and be baptised at His sepulcher. This is the most accurate rendering of this passage! It combines the θανατωθεὶς and the σαρκὶ to fully follow through as intended. To state thanatōtheis in the passage was MORE than sufficient to render that Christ DIED... but to add sarki makes it clear that this in in refrence to a removal of Christ from the Sarks (Realm of Flesh)

Same EXACT matter! The Greek renders Quickened in the Spiritual or MADE ALIVE IN THE SPIRITUAL zōopoiētheis / pneumati

You saw the verse where Jesus specifies that HE is NOT a Spirit / Ghost / Phantasm. It would be ignoring all of Jesus' and the Disciples words on this matter. You can't have Pneumati seperated from the sarki and come to ANY other conclusion. It is first order logic air tight.

19 In that state He also went and made a proclamation to the spirits in prison 20 who in the past were disobedient, when God patiently waited in the days of Noah while an ark was being prepared. In it a few—that is, eight people—were saved through water.

In that state (No Sarki) only in (Pneumati)! This is the proper handling of the Greek! To say that this STATE is POST Resurrection or Pre Crucifixion would be to insinuate that Jesus was NOT in the SARKI. No Flesh would equal no Hebrews 2:14.

So then, we now know that it makes sense that (Those disobedient in the Time of Noah) are referenced. God wiped out the flesh, but is addressing their sentient Immortal Souls in a VERY NON-Metaphorical Place.

After Jesus' literal Resurrection Evidence was given to verify that Believers would never be left to ROT in the GRAVE, EVER AGAIN. We have PASSED from Death to Life and will not be JUDGED.

Final Proof:

Ephesians 4:8 For it says: When He ascended on high, He took prisoners into captivity; He gave gifts to people.
