Some scientific prayer studies have shown that intercessory prayer, (not prayers to Mary but when a person prays for another) works to heal people. Other studies found that it makes their health worse and some other studies found that intercessory prayer has no effect whatsoever.
I looked this subject up on Catholic Answers but didn’t find much about it.
What are Catholics to make of prayer studies that have shown mixed results? Shouldnt prayer studies show positive outcomes if the Bible is right and that prayer works?
