Watch as hundreds of thousands of people gathered in the center of midtown Philadelphia to celebrate Pride Month and participate in the annual Philly Pride March and Parade yesterday. However, later in the day, things quickly took a rough turn when Pro-Palestine protesters, known as Queers 4 Palestine Philly, blocked the parade, bringing it to a halt and causing tensions to intensify. The most reliable news organization I could find that covered the incident was (forgive me) Fox News: Anti-Israel demonstrators seen on video bringing Philadelphia Pride Parade to a halt . Their article includes a video and some still photos. Toward the end of the article, it says that "Pride marchers looked on as police intervened."

I'm not seeing the clash covered at all by the Philadelphia Inquirer or WHYY, two of the most reliable news sources in our area. I'm guessing that means that the police handled it and the parade continued.

I can't find any support for the claim that "the Philadelphia Pride Parade descended into chaos as multiple fights broke out among other Pride attendees", so hislegacy will have to supply the source for that one.

My main takeaway here is that gay people sometimes disagree with each other about foreign policy.

I believe that the sign of the times - besides the hatred - is the delusion.

Everyone knew this would happen if these groups met - yet one side didn't see it coming.
