"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil."

- Proverbs 3:5-7

When it says "In all thine ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths" - all thine ways means your thoughts, your attitudes, your actions and behaviours, as well as your words. All means all: it encompasses the whole being, body, soul and spirit.
Don't say you love Jesus with all your heart, then deny Him by cursing, and dirty talk, and wicked behaviour, because you're a liar, according to the Bible.
"If ye love me, keep my commandments," Jesus said in John 14:15. "If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love." (John 15:10)
"And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. : (1 John 3:24)
"Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers" (Ephesians 4:29)
"But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him" (Colossians 3:8-10)

All this flows naturally into the next verse in Proverbs, "Be not wise in thine own eyes, fear the LORD, and depart from evil."
Don't rely on your own wisdom because the wisdom of man is foolishness with God! (See 1 Corinthians 1:18-30)

Fear the LORD: be afraid to displease Him, dread being disobedient, fear His wrath, and reverence His holiness in awe and wonder, and holy terror. Don't let anyone tell you that the fear of the LORD just means reverence, because they probably don't know the Hebrew and the Greek, which can mean reverence, but often means both, and sometimes means to be afraid, dread terror, or even terrified of something; in this case, God.

Depart from evil. That means shun it, and don't have anything to do with it. Take Job 1:1 as an example: "that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil." Some people might tell you no one's perfect, or you can't be perfect. Well, Jesus said "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect."
Paul wrote, "Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God." (2 Corinthians 7:1)

It wouldn't be written if it couldn't be done! Stop letting people spiritualize everything, or denying that we can do things the Bible commands us to do! 1 Corinthians 6:18 says "flee fornication" That means do not sleep with a woman you're not married to, period. That also means don't look at lewd pictures or videos. 1 Thessalonians 4:3, "For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:" "Porneia" is fornication, same word porn-o-graphy comes from.

Repent then, because way too many professing Christians bear little or no fruit of holiness, and the Scripture is clear: "But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:" (1 Peter 1:15-17)
And "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord" (Hebrews 4:12)

All manner of conversation means all your behaviours, not just talk. "And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Thessalonians 5:23)
Spirit, soul, and body means again, all, or the whole man, not just the spiritual part.
Meditate upon these things, and let them be a part of you, and let the Word saturate your entire being, for this is the true will of God.
