  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

No one needs vouchers to do that. They can send their children to any school they wish.

Then they need to stop buying Starbucks and avocado toast (just like @Desk trauma said, lol). Pull themselves up by their bootstraps.

FYI, my dad did electrical and maintenance work for the private Christian school they wanted me and my brother to attend to get a discount on the tuition and still paid his taxes like a patriotic, red-blooded, American Navy vet.

Renegade red states. Ugh! Federal laws supercede state laws, and yet all over the country rogue governors are flouting laws, putting razor wire on the border, stating any gun restrictions after 2021 will be invalid, and (in hearings today) hospitals turning away pregnant women with life threatening emergencies.
They should be required to take a course in Constitutional law and slapped with heavy fines.
