If praying to God for healing, but you keep desperately trying new medications and supplements, does that show a lack of faith on your part?
God meets you at your faith. Doctors and medicine do not heal anything. They can treat symptoms. God and the natural abilities He put into your body heal. The scripture says faith comes by hearing a word from Christ. (Rom 10:17). We are told to know the Word, and to hold fast to the confession of your faith. If faith is what the Word says, then you hold fast to what the Word says. It says, "Who heals all your diseases..." It says, "By His stripes you
were healed. (past tense)" Hold fast to the confession of these things.
(Psalms 103, 1 Peter 2:24).
"I am healed by the stripes of Jesus. He heals all of my diseases"
Don't worry if the confessions do not match the evidence of your body and what the doctors say. This is
the confession of your faith, which is the evidence of
things not seen. The prime directive is that
we please God, and that means we must
believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Hebrews 11:6 KJV
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Even if you never see it! You please God by holding fast to the confession of things you hope for but not yet see.
That is the message of Heb 11.
Hebrews 11:13 KJV
13 These
all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
Hebrews 11:39 KJV
39 And these all, having
obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:
Believe you have received them...
Mark 11:24 RV
24 Therefore I say unto you, All things whatsoever ye pray and ask for,
believe that ye have received them, and ye shall have them.
