Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.
Honestly, no foreign donor should give money to the US elections, as that would be tampering with the US election process. Anyone caught receiving foreign funds should pay a fine equal to the funds + a certain percentage of their own wealth. Also, for a fair election, US donors should donate an equal amount to each candidate, up to say, $5M. Joe Biden, Chris Christie, Nikki Haley, and even Donald Trump should never have more donation money compared to each other. All donation money could be pooled in a fund and spread evenly between all the candidates. Why should *any* billionaire be allowed to pump gobs of "dark" money into campaigns? At least everything should be fully open for all to see where the money comes from and where it flows.
