I thought that the music in Spirited Away was very good. I recommend watching Castle of Cagliostro. It's not Miyazaki's deepest film, but it is a very well done movie. Like Laputa, it has flying machines and a very cool castle(though I haven't seen Laputa yet).
The characters in Castle of Cagliostro are very cool. The movie has some humor and some more serious parts too. It's a very fun and charming movie and definatly worth checking out. The music is good, but not on par with My Neighbor Totoro or some other Miyazaki films.
You can probably find Castle of Cagliostro at a DVD store in Australia too. Madman Entertainment published it in Australia. However, if their release is anything like Manga Entertainment's US release, I do warn against the dub. The dub has some good acting, but it takes some liberaties from the subbed version and has way too much added cursing. I'm not sure about video, but Castle of Caglistro was released on video in the US with dubbed and subbed tapes and I highly recommend getting the subbed tapes over the dubbed ones.
