WA, he had been losing interest in CF for a long time. He was a dear friend of mine and he said at one point he could take it or leave it. It’s in one of my messages but I think he is finished with it as I told you before. I just hope things are going well for him. I miss him too. He is a great guy.

Do you have another way to get in touch with him or do you guys correspond outside of CF ever? It'd just be nice to know how he is. Always feels sad to see a long timer give up on this place. It's past its glory days but it's still 'home'.

Gosh, he has been gone a couple of years now. No I do not have a way to contact him outside of here. He lost his father and sister and was extremely busy with work and moved last I talked to him. As I said, he mentioned not being terribly invested in this place anymore. I’m sure he is fine. Just moved on.

At least we have somewhat of an idea. I had also been very curious. Although I'm not as active in this place as I was when I first joined, I can't seem to totally leave here.

I'm sorry to hear all that. I mean I get it, I can't see a website having much value at a time when your life is going through so many changes like his was. It's kinda hard to stay connected here when it's not the most active site on the web, I keep wishing it would thrive again and the traffic would boost back up to the way it was in the late 2000s and early 2010s when I joined but it seems like conventional forums like this have lost their luster after the big social media sites have grown into the behemoths they are today.
At any rate, I miss the guy. I wish he could at least send up a flare so we could know how things are going for him now but he doesn't owe us anything. Maybe he'll pop in some day in the future.
