WHY DID GOD COME TO EARTH ?

Why did Jesus come to earth to accomplish and there many answers .

And in Matt 10:34 is just another reason why he came to earth .

In Matt 10:34 is another reason what Christ came and will accomplish and that will happen .

#1 Think //NOMIZ0 is an AORIST TENSE , ACTIVE VOICE , and in the Subjunctive Mood , and in the PLURAL

#2 NOT // is a DISJUNCATIVE PARTICLE NEGATIVE

#3 I AM COME //ERCH0MAI , in the AORIST TENSE , ACTIVE VOICE , INDICATIVE MOOD , means better believe it , in the SINGULAR .

#4 TO SEND // BALLO , in the ACTIVE VOICE , means Christ will be using man to carry it out .

# 5 PEACE // EIRENE is in the ACCUSATIVE CASE , in the SINGULAR

#6 ON EARTH // GE , is also in the ACCUSATIVE CASE and in the SINGULAR

# 7 I CAME // ERCHOMA , is in the Greek AORIST TENSE , ACTIVE VOICE , in the INDICAIVE MOOD in the SIINGULAR

#8 NOT // MU is Greek a DISJUNCATIVE NEGATIVE , and it means NOT ever to bring peace until earth is His Foot stool !!

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit (spiritual), and of the joints and marrow (flesh).

John's description of Jesus:

Revelation 1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

The prophecy:

Revelation 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

The second coming for the wicked who are alive:

Revelation 19:21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Regarding Luke 12:49-56; the division of men; believers and unbelievers, a warning to discern the time.

Luke 12:49-56 I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled? But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished! Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division: For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And he said also to the people, When ye see a cloud rise out of the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower; and so it is. Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?

I am come to send fire on the earth. Judgment.
Division. Between believers and unbelievers.
Hypocrites who don't know the time because they aren't watching. Lukewarm or cold Christians.

Jesus also prophesied the parable of the wheat and the tares. Matthew 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Conclusions

The word of God, the twoedged sword:

Jesus is the word of God. John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Jesus speaks of the word of God as coming from God directly.
- During His ministry: John 14:24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
- Post-crucifixion, in heaven: Revelation 1:1-2 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
Jesus descends with a shout to raise the saints from the grave. 1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Division among men was prophesied, is happening, and will continue until the second coming.
We are called to be sober and watch.

Dan, the main reason Jesus came to us is to announce the Kingdom of Heaven, he invites all who believe in him and do his fathers will to be part of it. He paid the price of our sin with his blood, he was the ultimate and final sacrifice, all we have to do is follow his lead and obey or follow the 10 commandments.

Luk 4:43 And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.

Jesus preached first to the Jews the people Chosen by GOD but however after the ascension he sent his disciples to preach the gospel to all the earth. you cannot use une verse to make a point but must look at the whole of his HOLY message, repent for the kingdom of GOD is at hand, here below is what he said to his disciples;

Indeed, non-dispensationalists would largely agree with this, although technically, the indwelling of God within us pertains to the person of the Holy Spirit, although He was sent into the world by Christ to serve as our Comforter and Paraclete.

That is a misunderstanding of the word "US". Jesus clearly dwelled in a Human Body. God wanted to become a part of His creation. You are right in that we are the temple of God for the Holy Spirit to dwell in us. As we become united together with each other we become united with God. I believe the atonement is two fold. To reconcile us with the Father and to reconcile us with each other. ;

Do you have a verse , here AONEMENT is two fold ?

And where ATONEMENT began ??

I believe that ATONEMENT began at Gen 3:21 !!

You do not think we are to be reconciled with each other? Read the sermon on the mount where Jesus talks about this.

In John 13:34 "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another." Do you really think we could love one another if Jesus were not doing a work in us? What the world calls love is often lust and that is very destructive and harmful. Not Calvary love at all.

The Holy Spirit is our Teacher and our Guide. Jesus is still in our heart.

I have always wondered , just here it says the 10 tribes are LOST , and have you ever seen a verse on that ??

And in verse 20 is the Greek word BAPTIZING , mean WATER BAPTISIM // BAPTIMO and the Greek word for water // HUDOR IS NOT THERE ??

And in verse 20 what things are the 11 disciples , in verse 16 to TEACH their converts , which there teaching had to be the La of Moses .
