Jesus was brought to the Second Temple (its ruins are called the Temple Mount in today's Jerusalem) to be dedicated as Luke 2:21-40 says. The Romans destroyed the Second Temple in AD 70, which had stood for 585 years( the First Temple of the Lord is commonly called Solomon's Temple, was destroyed by the Babylonians.)

The Roman Empire commemorated the conquering of Jerusalem and Judea by building the still-standing famous Arch of Titus in AD 81. One of the friezes(pictorial carving) on the Arch of Titus records the Roman soldiers carrying away the giant Menorah of the Temple, while the Roman legion tore down every stone of the Second Temple. This Temple is where Jesus declared to the Pharisees that he would raise the temple of his body from the grave in 3 days.-Luke 2:19

In Matthew 24:2 Jesus prophesied that all of the stones of the Second Temple will be knocked down. This was fulfilled in AD 70. Only God could have known this!

The Spoils from the Temple of Jerusalem frieze of the Arch of Titus of course proves both that the Second Temple(sometimes called Herod's Temple) actually existed and Jesus's prophecy was true. Even pastor's I know and talk to do not know these facts. These truths prove that the Bible can absolutely be trusted.

1500 Protestant Churches closed in America in 2019 and studies show between 75-90 percent of church-going evangelical youth , leave the Christian faith. A Missouri pastor told me even adult members are leaving his church. Yes, we are saved by faith alone in Christ alone but heaven is not a socialist paradise. Jesus greatly encouraged us to work for eternal rewards and treasures. Jesus has said it is a proper motive to want rewards in heaven, apart from being born again and inheriting eternal life in heaven. We should work for the Lord Jesus because we love him and our fellow Christians. But Christ loves us so much he will give incredible rewards that last an eternity to those who work for his kingdom.

You might have seen Pastor Dr. David Jeremiah on tv. I heard him say that he goes to the book of Isaiah and Psalms when he has doubt.
In an other post I use the teaching of evangelical Professor Millard's books, and a New Zealand family's photos of the actual scene from Isaiah 36:1-2,to show how we can prove the miracle of Isaiah 37:36. And only because of the Spirit of Christ whom we all know personally because he lives in us; both comforting us and energizing us with infinite zeal.

As noted a few pastors have used this in sermons and Sunday Schools. It simply works because Romans 10:17 declares faith comes from hearing the Word of God. We can actually show the Word/Bible thanks to Dr. Alan Millard, the Kiwi family and the Holy Spirit who preserved Sennacherib's world famous palace for over 2700 years!.(He, Millard, actually came over to this side of the pond, to Texas from Liverpool, UK to teach some years ago.)Never has it been easier to edify the youth and adult Christians and even pastors. Never has it been easier to earn eternal rewards and love the Lord Jesus and the wonderful Church at once. Love your fellow Christian by showing them the Word of God is proven and undeniably accurate, factual and true! But we actually have to roll up our sleeves and do a tiny bit of work.
Paul says in 1 Corinthians 3:9 " For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building. "

• 37% of adults in Evangelical churches do not believe the Bible is totally accurate
• 45% of Evangelicals do not believe Jesus Christ was sinless
• 52% of Evangelicals do not believe Satan is real

- In my own experience and the evidence shown by the above trusted evangelical scholars and evangelists, I am certain that we have to -and can - prove the Bible is true and yet also explain that some faith will be and must be always be required.

A pastor emphasized to me that too few Christians are truly following the first and great commandment. That pastor really opened my eyes and changed my life!
