The article makes the common mistake of seeing a reaction to Trump as leftist reaction to Republicans. Trump is an anomaly. Trump has a habit of spouting crazy rhetoric that gets the negative attention of all sorts of people, left, middle, and right. It's not leftist to be opposed to Trump or to investigate his antics.

I kinda lost interest when the article claimed that having former intelligence personnel promote Clinton as the better candidate was somehow breaking a longstanding tradition of not. That's baloney.

Gentry has a book to sell. Book tours do better when sensationalized.

First he talks about ex-CIA members, and then he talks about the FBI. Those aren't examples of the CIA doing anything.
