Cop car crashes into the front of a gay bar. Police say one of the owners assaulted one of the responding officers. Owners say they were handcuffed after refusing to provide identification despite being the victims. That link has video of the crash. Video of the ensuing interaction hasn’t yet been released.

Looks they decided to follow up totaling an expensive vehicle with a lawsuit.
Not a dime of either cost coming from the pockets of officers of course.

The cops ran a red light before the crash and weren't given toxicology tests after.
That's how it usually works (even when they're off duty).

While there are some rare instances where you'll find videos of a cop arresting another cop after a traffic infraction (be it for alcohol or anything else), it basically has to be a case where the guy's falling over drunk before they'll decline to provide, what they call, "professional courtesy" (aka: "let your buddies off the hook")
