My mom came here after we nuked her country for the American Dream (AD). I was always told to work hard to achieve it. Lance talks about the misconception of the AD and some of the causes of the loss of faith in some, Disclaimer: I watch this guy on YouTube for stock info.

Trigger Alert:

"If you look at the faces of those pushing back, they are of every race, religion, and creed. Their commonality is they are the demographic most impacted by job losses, income destruction, financial disparity, and debt. That inequality gained enormous traction following the Federal Reserve’s repeated bailouts of the financial system."

"The “American Dream” is the idea that the Government should protect each person’s opportunity to pursue their vision of happiness. It is the dream of opportunity, the dream of freedom, and the dream of liberty."

"Due to 50 years of debt, deficits, and ongoing interventions in the financial system, there is a visible gap between the “rich” and everyone else. However, that is not a failure of “capitalism;” it is the byproduct of “corporatism.”

"
The American dream was never about being granted a high salary, given an opportunity, or gifted wealth.

However, we were given the “freedom” to start with nothing and, by sheer “will,” create success. For example:"
And sadly I only know Oparah and Ralph

Notice on the chart that the disparity started with NAFTA when we shipped jobs and wages to China and abroad.

I don't believe government policy can change a monetary problem, especially when they are mutually decided.

what happened in the early 80's is that corporations discovered there is no financial incentive to pay higher wages.

-there still isn't. and won't be for a while.

Now that it seems we are deglobalizing and reshoring manufacturing employers will compete for labor, sort of like what happened after covid. added wages, We should end the FED with monetary lunacy.

in a perfect world, you would have equal financial conditions in uganda, as you do in switzerland.
this is not something 95% of the world want to happen. so there will always be inequality, as Jesus says the poor will always be with you.

but when entire nations survive on stealing from other countries, there has to be a reckoning.
for example, 80% of gold mined from certain countries in africa, goes straight to france.

but when entire nations survive on stealing from other countries,
I appreciate your post. I found an interview with Ben and Collin of [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] and believe that it is "monetary expansion" that is causing the problems till now. I spent hours trying to figure out why because I'm no money guru. Nixon screwed that up by getting away from the gold standard because countries were trying to turn in their paper for gold because of the economic condition at the time. With no gold backing, we could create an unlimited amount of paper maybe through the petrol dollar. How it was used back then I still can't figure out. Because the chart shows it.

It wasn't till a year ago I started listening to Lance and others and finally got a small understanding of why people's lives haven't gotten any better. This is all out of concern for my millennial children and grandkids. I do know the printing of money which is money expansion and reduces the purchasing power of the dollar harms Americans today.

More recently, Leading up to and after the GFC the Fed started QE (money printing) program which kept interest rates extremely low and allowed corporations and investors to borrow money almost for free. Naturally, they bought up as many assets as they could which inflated asset prices. If you notice after 2008 there was a dramatic rise in the charts. Also, we were able to buy homes or refinance at a lower rate. When asset prices rise insurance, property tax, commodities and everything else rise. The printing of money is keeping our weak economy afloat artificially in my view. We are no longer a producer-based but a consumer-based economy. If we have a recession the economy will reset Zombie companies will disappear and asset prices will come down giving my kids a chance to own.

All this arms me with info to send to my congressman, whether they read the letter I sent is a different story. Change happens only when enough people talk about it. My two main concerns are Health and Finances because this concerns ALL Americans. Peace

Trying to tie our economy to the gold standard at this point, would be akin to burning wood to provide the energy for the wind-turbine-blade manufacturing process.

Not if they upped the price of gold and maybe bitcoin on the side. Central Banks are loading up on gold for some reason.
