Is Mr Trump Republican kryptonite?

It took some folks much more time to see through Trump's bluster and lies, and slowly but surely many are seeing him for who he is, which is a failed businessman, politician and husband. Trump's niece Mary Trump tells us who he really is.

All that PAC money, very little of which goes to other candidates. It seems most of it is going to his legal defense.

He's certainly polarizing with his attention grabbing hyperbole rhetoric. Whilst that excites and invigorates his base, it also activates opposition to him as many people see him as a very dangerous potential president, hence his opponent (Joe Biden) getting historical amounts of votes in the presidential election.

Unfortunately for the Republican party, Trump's allure is so strong in their base that no other Republican party member has a realistic shot at the Republican primary. So they are destined to failure on the national stage regardless of whatever their policies may be.

Trump's base have shown they are willing to over look sexual assault, financial fraud, willingness to break the rules of the constitution, willingness to ignore the vote of the people, and have Republican "electors" just simply vote for their favourite party, ignoring the vote of the people. They are all OK with this, for Trump. He will get 10's of millions voting for him, but then again 10's of millions will vote against him too.
