  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

No one has ever seen God. Really?

Adam and Eve interacted with an anthropomorphic version of God, Genesis 2:22
Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.

This manifestation seemed to be localized and physical, Genesis 4:16
So Cain went out from the LORD’s presence and lived in the land of Nod, east of Eden.

Jacob wrestled with God in Genesis 32:
30 Jacob called the place Peniel, saying, “It is because I saw God face to face, and yet my life was spared.”
This was a theophany of God, a physical manifestation of God.

Jesus declared in John 1:
18 No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.
The uncreated Son of God has seen the uncreated God.

1 Timothy 6:
16 who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see.

No one can see the incorporeal essence of God. God is not a created being but we are. We do not have the ability to see the uncreated form of God.

No man has seen God, at anytime.
Jacob wrestled with an angel of God - Hosea 12:1-4. Thus the writer says Jacob contended with God,, since the angel represented God.

Similarly, Moses saw and spoke to angels that represented God, and thus the writer says Moses saw God, and spoke to God, face to face.
Exodus 3:1-4 Compare Deuteronomy 5:4

As God truthfully says, “you cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live.” Exodus 33:20
All spirit beings who are in essence God-like, can see God. Hence, all the heavenly sons of God, see him. Matthew 5:8

It is my belief and the belief of many others Jesus is the God written of in the Old Testament. The Earth is His, given to him by our Father and he is the creator; one of the US written in the Book of Genesis chapters 1,2,3. He is not the Father but he is the Son and the only Begotten Son.

We do not have the ability to see our Father but as Jesus said when we look upon him we see the Father because the two are one and in terms of today's technology he's a clone, directly of our Father.

No one has ever seen God[the Father] except the Son.

John 1:18 (KJV)

No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son,
which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him .
